Hello everyone, feel so good to be here.

Valentine is a season, where love is shared and being expressed to friends and families, and this is expressed mostly in this season through special treats and gifts.
Love is a beautiful thing when it's been shared with the right people, although it has been overrated, and abused, but still we have genuine lovers out there who understand the true meaning of love, and make sacrifices for the love to be sustained. Others misunderstood the concept of love to sex.
Valentine's day is a beautiful day where love is expressed through gifts, meanwhile I see gifts as symbols of love to our loved ones, and this is done every time, then a question comes to my mind, if we received gifts all the time, then what makes Valentine's Day so special, and why can't we be contented with those ones? The answer that came to my mind was that we cannot get enough of love, we crave for more, and we want to spice it up with beautiful memories, I believe this is the essence of Valentine's day, to spice up love life or rekindle the fire love among couples and family members. Then another question came why is it after Valentine's day, some love is not still rekindled?it is because so many of us who proclaim love do not really understand what love is all about. Love is not all about gifting, because we can still receive gifts yet get maltreated by the same person who profess or sang love songs to you, there is more to love than just receiving gifts, love entails patience, kindness, understanding, gentleness, care etc. these are true definitions of love to me.

Valentine's Day comes with so many love packages, some will have a special treat, leading to marriage proposals, others special romantic dates, while others will receive a fairwell package, which will lead to heartbreaks, and emotional trauma. All these still happens on Valentine's day. Is it still part of the Valentine's gift?
There are various ways in which love can be expressed, some is an act of service, and some gifts, people have different desires and tests for things, so it takes intimacy to understand your spouse personality. The gifts become a way of expressing emotions that might be difficult to put into words.
There is a deeper definition behind love language that goes beyond the physical gift. Gifts in relationships are important for showing love, gratitude, and kindness to our partner, because even the smile we put on the faces of our spouse is a gift, same thing as the peace of mind, also gifts is an expression of love through thoughtfulness and intentionality,
Gifts are good, but it is genuine love that keeps the fire of love burning, gifts are just a form of appreciation and compensation.
