Nigeria, is a lovely country but there is something that I think required changes in my country which a lot of people don't used to talk about.

As of last year, as a result of forcing female child into earlier marriage, a lot of girls are been robs off of their childhood, and also ended some of the girls education. In Nigeria, forcing female child to early marriage is now widespread practice and commonly practice within the Northern part of my country.

Young girls within the age of 10 -17 years old is now being force to marriage. After giving out this girl at early age, Some of these girls encountered different kind of problem such as domestic violence, depression and emotional distress. some even got pregnant at the early stage of their marriage and end up giving up the ghost when trying to give birth, and some of these girls are being exposed to disease such as Hiv/Aids, viral hepatitis, and so on.

These are mostly caused by illiteracy, religion beliefs, tradition and poverty. Child marriage needed to be stopped in this new year.

Looking at my country, Nigeria is a country that is facing economic challenges, and most of these challenges are being triggered by overpopulation, which resulted to unemployment, high inflation and making the price of goods and services to rise. people of my country need to know how to control the rate at which they give birth, they need to educated on birth control.

Another things, is a peaceful environment since the beginning of this new year there have been series of killing, kidnapping and bombing taking places in my country. I wish this too come to an end now.

There are other different things which I wish it could also stopped this year, such as physical, sexual, emotional, and economic violence against women and girls. These are the things that require changes in my country and I pray that GOD makes the changes comes to pass.
