April 3rd β‘οΈ April 10th, 2023Β Β Β ChatGPT & ChatSonic are two of the heavyweight AI Chatbots at the moment, with ChatSonic being more accessible to those of us living in SE Asia. For this challenge I would like all participants to experiment with AI Chatbots and share the results with fellow ASEAN Hivers. ChatSonic only requires an email account to register, unlike ChatGPT which does not support most countries in SE Asia and requires phone verification.
Β Β Β Whether creating a poem about farts in Old English style or writing a song about cheeseburgers in the style of Justin Bieber, ChatSonic is able to handle nearly any task you give it. This program can even write ads, so I would like to see how creative you ASEAN Hivers can get with this program, and feel free to share your results via screenshots, video, or even sharing the text results. Perhaps share things like your thoughts and feelings about this technology, it's potential impact on plagiarism, Hive, the world, etc. Okay ASEAN Hivers, please enjoy this one and let's take a look at the big winner of last week's challenge.

Β Β Β Sadly (but not for @tegoshei) there was only one entry for last week's challenge, but it was a very entertaining read that was worthy of all three prizes. I learned about banana ketchup, something I didn't know existed, but now anytime I visit the USA I will be keeping my eyes open in Asian grocery stores for it. It's a Filipino thing, so I don't expect to find it here in Cambodia unless brought in by a Filipino resident that lives here. There were many other interesting parts of the winning post, so I highly recommend you go check it out.

In the Philippines, we use banana ketchup instead of tomato ketchup most of the time. I do like tomato ketchup especially when eating some fries or other fried foods, but banana ketchup is just so Filipino, haha. It's sweet and a bit spicy, so I really like it. Same with soy sauce, I use it on my rice instead of dipping some fried foods in it. It's just my personal preference, though.

The next challenge is quite interesting and I've been curious about it, so I'll give it a shot. I wonder if they're available in my area... Time to find out! Thanks again! :D
I am so fascinated by banana ketchup, guess I'm gonna have to make it myself one of these days. I've already been playing with ChatSonic this week a bit, with some good results. I recommend this one because you only need an email address. I generated some laugh out loud results when I asked it to create a dialogue between Adam and John about an illegal magic banana hidden under Adam's bed πππ.
Ohh... please tell me when you made one. haha

You're a creative person, I can't wait to see how you challenged the chatbot.
I can't believe you're encouraging the use of AI bots to create content. Don't we have enough abuse on Hive already?
Perhaps a more careful read of this challenge should be considered. Posting about our experiences with this new technology could only serve to educate and make people more aware of its capabilities. My experience with ChatSonic better informed me on how to spot potential AI-created posts, and I don't think my fellow ASEAN Hivers should be left in the dark on this one.
ChatSonic created a wonderful Old English style poem about farts for me a few weeks ago, and I laughed so hard that I had to share it with Hive. Anybody using AI to create their posts hasn't read the challenge clearly, and I only want people to share their results and post about the experience. I've shared my experiences with AI chatbot tech and image creation on my blog several times already, and my readers found it quite amusing.
I have done my best to keep Hive politics out of ASEAN Hive, and if you feel this challenge is inappropriate for Hive, I can end it. My previous posts about AI didn't garner any downvotes, curious why encouraging others to have the same educational fun I've had is worthy of a downvote βΉοΈ.
First of all, the use of AI and the problems it creates is not Hive politics, I'm surprised you think of it that way.
I'm sure you will agree with me that English is not the first language of many of your community members, and normally that limits their attention span and grasp of the objective behind a particular challenge, especially if they just read the first part
And off they go immediately to make a post written by AI because a community leader asked them to.
There is a difference between using AI to generate content and analysing its merits vs using AI to generate content, post without any commentary and let people think it's original content created by the author. The latter is mainly what happens now and what many are trying to stop because that is abusing Hive.
I can't tell you what to do or not to do. I'm just another member of the Hive community, like you, raising her concerns because I see how much AI abuse goes on already. Ultimately, it's your community and you are free to run it however you want. You're not the first community to go against the tide to encourage users to use AI and I'm sure you won't be the last.
I am not encouraging AI post creation, I am encouraging to experiment with the site and report and blog about the results. AI abuse is not tolerated in ASEAN Hive and I have already stated clearly in the challenge and again in my comment that I am not encouraging AI post creation, I am encouraging to explore the site and and report on the results.
I am not and have not encouraged anyone to create AI content without commentary or stating it's origin. I think you are still misunderstanding the purpose and goal of this challenge, and I encourage you to read the post in full. I am not going against any tides and I don't appreciate you misrepresenting my words or the purpose of this challenge. I think a poem about farts in the style of Shakespeare or an ad about new car that your dog can drive are things that might give community members a good laugh like it did me, and like me, I couldn't resist blogging about hilarious results and sharing them with my readers.
It's clear you have your mind made up, but a downvote is unappreciated and inappropriate considering I've asked nobody to violate any community norms or standards. The negative language and accusations from you are very surprising. Your posts are consistently near $100 because you are among the shotcallers on Hive, so thanks for downvoting a $3 challenge post from a whaleless grassroots Hive community whose members mostly live on a monthly income worth less two or three of your post payouts.
First, please don't drag my post value into this conversation. I fail to see its relevance to this issue.
Second, the fact you view AI generated content as Hive politics and not a Hive abuse issue, indicates how you under estimate the damage AI is causing on Hive.
The last paragraph of your comment above clearly indicates you can't hold a rational conversation, so it's pointless to continue this conversation.

I do not view AI generated content as Hive politics, stop f*cking jamming lies and false statements down my throat and keep your bullying out of ASEAN Hive. I have not said any of those things, please take your lies and and false accusations with you and stay out of ASEAN Hive.

I unfortunately ran out of my monthly allowance on ChatSonic, so I wasn't able to gather enough funny screenshots to make the post I had intended. Instead I have only this gem which is featured in a post about making gnocchi with my family.
