Warhammer 40k - The clean-ish pile of plastic grows...

There are a few things that I have learned about the Cleen Green process that I will share with you all.

Hello. My name is Zak Ludick from Cape Town, South Africa. This post deals with the hobby of warhammer 40,000 but you could use this process with any plastic or metal miniatures you want to strip and repaint.

Please not to test your models first. Finecast or resin cannot be cleaned this way and will melt. It is important that you check your models first.

So what I have learned is that you need a tray to work in, it makes a lot of mess.

You also need some rubber gloves. Cleen Green may not be very corrosive to human skin but after being submerged in it and brushing your skin with the toothbrush will make your hands very dirty and leave your skin raw.

Finally, the models tend to come apart. The Cleen Green also dissolve the glue so you can expect the models to come apart under your brushing.

I have managed to clean off quite an impressive pile of models... I have not counted them yet but I know quite a lot of additional models are needed to be cleaned.

I guess I shall need to be patient!

Power is off at the moment, so I have limited time left with my PC on.
