Powering Up & Delegating HIVE Power

It has been awhile since I participating in HPUD (Hive Power Up Day). With one of my ongoing goals being to increase my HIVE Power I thought it best I start doing so and there is no better day to start such a process than HPUD. I recently (just hours ago) used the majority of my liquid HIVE to purchase Chaos Legion Packs from the secondary markets (You can read all about that by clicking this highlighted area). I did so while completely forgetting that today is HPUD. Luckily I do have a small amount of Liquid HIVE still in my wallet and that is what I'll be powering up. It won't be a large amount but every little helps. A secondary goal I had for HIVE was to support some of the projects in which I believe bring value to HIVE. Once such project (front-end) is LeoFinance. So after I complete my HIVE Power-Up I will be delegate some HIVE to the @leo.voter account. According to HiveStats.io the @leo.voter account garners 16% APY on your delegated HIVE POWER (Paid Out Daily). A nice little kickback for doing something I planned on doing anyways.

Lets Power-Up

Looks like after my shopping spree I had just 43.401 liquid HIVE left. Its a small amount to power up but it is an amount. Before realizing it was HPUD I also hit the LeoDex marketplace to purchase some LEO Tokens as to get ready for the next LPUD (Leo Power Up Day/ 15th of each month). My blog doesn't earn much in the form of LEO Tokens these days so buying from market to have enough for a power-up is the go to move currently. I hope to increase my Hive Power and LEO Power throughout 2023 and beyond. Depending on price fluctuations I have set my Hive Power goal for the year of 2023 to 15,000 HP and my Leo Token Goal to 7,500 LP. Goals in which I hope to surpass.

The Delegation

I don't hold allot of Hive-Power (Yet) so this will be a small delegation as to not hurt my own vote value. As noted delegating to projects in which I want to support is one of the things on my Hive Goals List. The first project I delegated to was PSYBERX (Play2Earn first shooter game). Now its time to delegate to another. Today I'll be delegating 250 HIVE Power to @leo.voter. A delegation in which I hope to add to in the future.

What Is HPUD?

Hive Power UP Day (HPUD) is a day that the HIVE community collectively powers-up some HIVE Tokens. They do this to show support to the Hive Blockchain in which they come to enjoy interacting on. Of course any day is a good day to power-up some HIVE but for those who do so on the 1st of each month they are doing so on Hive Power Up Day. Don't forget to use the HPUD/HivePUD tag on your HPUD Post.

HPUd and LPUD are among the two positive initiatives that were started by the community to empower the coins Hive and LPUD, both these initiatives are doing very well, Happy to see people are becoming a regular part of this initiatives. Happy HPUD @rentmoney
