See the dog in the cloud.

Looks like a Scottish Terrier in the cloud on the mountain.

What a past week! A harrowing fire, then floods and also the financial system crashing worldwide.

But we are all still standing here on Hive and that is always a good thing.
Amazing how we can get through everything that life throws at us and some of us have many battle scars, physically and literally. The storms in life attack us constantly and at times we become emotionally drained.
But there is always the light that arrives to lift us up in so many unexpected ways.
So I wish light and happiness on everyone that reads this post.

Some lovely mountain scenes here to ease your nerves on this Friday.

And finally a Protea Flower to show you the beauty of life.

Yes indeed, it is what it is and it all depends on what we concentrate on in life. Some chase riches, others chase popularity and yet others chase titles. But eventually there comes a time when acceptance steps in to come and calm it all down. Then whenever we look back on our lives, we realize that we have wasted so much time chasing the spooks of life. Life is to be appreciated as a gift that we as frail beings just have to understand.
Appreciation, even for our breath and our health, should become a priority as we stumble along.
Just my own thoughts.

Hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.

And That's All Friends.

I see the Terrier :) May he chase the fires away for good!

A great reminder that we need to enjoy life 🙌

Hahaha, that Terrier brought news of more rain my friend.
And now there is a warning out for storm winds that they reckon can reach up up 90km per hour.

Without reading your post, I was going to say it's a Terrier, then I saw you said Scottish Terrier. It could also be an Airedale Terrier or a Fox Terrier 😂 But it's definitely a Terrier 🐶

Hahaha, I think that the Scottish Terrier is the closest match and the dog's message was that there is more rain on the way very soon.

Yep, it really looks like a Terrier in the sky - great find, Zac 😀

Your words are so very right, just as (almost) always, and I have to admit that I am also guilty for wanting more than necessary.

Woah! Like it was painted there. Hope everyone is recovering from that terrible fire - harrowing is the right word. It has been rather a hectic week internationally and locally

Oh yes mother nature is a wonderful artist. Much damages and I so wish that they will get rid of all the foreign trees. Those pine forests are real fire starters and when the burn starts, nothing can stop it. 5 prestigious houses totally destroyed and thankfully no lives lost.
Harrowing all over the world.

A terrier for sure! I almost see another dog, right behind him, chasing him across the sky. You are really quick to draw! These images go poof! before you know it!

The protea flower is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing the beauty of South Africa. Have a wonderful weekend, my friend.

Thank you milady and yes, it was only a few seconds with this wind before the doggy was no more.
Our national flower as you know and it was my mom's favorite flower.
A new cold front is right now landing and the wind is fearsome, so we will be wet this weekend.

Shame I read about the fire that @enginewitty had and the best that I could do was a full vote and a reblog. Hopefully some of my followers will see the post and also support.
I just wish that my vote value was higher, but the hive price is down.

May you also have a peaceful weekend ❤️

I sent him a little bit, only because I didn't power up today, my vote is low and I have all those Market posts to upvote, so I hurried up and voted him. They look like they are taking care of him, and what a terrible tragedy, I am grateful his family did not get injured but so sorry about their pet.

Great shots as always!

Most always casualties in these unexpected fires Lady Denise and yes, you have a lot to support in your Market community. It is however not the giving that counts, but the heart that gives.
To lose everything in a fire is one of the most difficult things to overcome and yes it was a blessing that none of the family was hurt.

All of our love to you.

PS. 'Scottish Terrier ' looked also like a cemetary cross, but I agree that is a less pleasurable association.
hot !PIZZA for you, Sir.
