Hello everybody,

We were not on the road today so, I have the opportunity to cook for the family. My daughter and I went to the public market this morning here in our City. It is her first time to visit the new market. Very timely scallops were abundant and her first time to taste it, that's why I decided to cook the scallops.

Here's how I cook the Scallops

Ingredients:

1 kilo scallops
Garlic
Onion
Ginger
Green chillies
Coconut cooking oil
Soy sauce
Black Pepper
Salt

Chopped the garlic,onion and ginger
Heat the cooking oil place the ginger first, next the onion and the garlic. When the onion is translucent place the scallops then the soy sauce. No water because the scallops produces water once boiling. If the scallops are soft place the green chillies and black pepper then a dash of salt. Viola! Sauteed Scallops, done. So, simple and quick cooking. The soup have little sweeter taste. My daughter loved it, too.

Scallops used to be one of my favorite foods as a kid, but I had no idea where they because I'd never the landlocked cornfields of Indiana. Well, I can definitely say nobody was preparing them in such a tasteful way as you have, American cooks are afraid of any ingredients that aren't salt and pepper, but I say bring on the green chilies.
