My Actifit Report Card: January 16 2023

A new menu introduced today for one airline. That means a hectic few days to come until everyone settles in with the new routine.

My first day back and just my luck to be on duty when a new menu is released! Always a challenge and we still have a few people off sick too.

But at the end of the day it wasn't that bad. Actually, by lunchtime when the bulk of the day shift work is done, it calms down a bit. We cook for our Heathrow depot too so this needs to be ready for the truck delivery.

As far as I know, everything went well! We'll find out tomorrow at the morning briefing I expect! 😱

Yes, chefs are quite stressed out on days when new menus begin. Recipes are different yes! Just one airline this time but a lot of work nonetheless.
