Fund raising event for the cathedral

Mabuhay my friends! Whilst the weekend was packed with heavy schedule on church's mass, the home minister and the teenage girl also part taking at the fund raising event for the community hall renovation.

As a supportive father and husband for the 2 most important ladies in my house, how can me and junior not participate in this event?

The fund raising event was set at the St John international school field. Temporary tents are erected at the middle of the field. Fortunately the day was NOT too sunny despite we're at the middle of a heat wave currently.

Why do I suddenly mabuhay? Well, Filipino ladies has always been our most active cheer ladies in the church. We absolutely adore them for bringing up the spirit and make the event super lively with nice songs and dance.

Other than Filipinos, we also have friends from Myanmar helping the event. I really enjoy seeing different culture people does their thing and enjoying themselves.

Here's when me and junior arrived, we greet the hardworking teenage girl at her booth where she's selling... well I don't know what she sells. By the time junior finishes his tuition, we went there by noon, which is a little too late for almost everything.

Since there's not much food left, junior decided to set foot at the game booth and started roaming the entire floor, sweeping prizes like the game was rigged 🤯

The last 3 dollars junior decided to spent on, was an "ice cream". Clearly, back in my days we know these are diluted syrups water being frozen as tube ice. And by the look of how watery this tube is, you can probably guess what's going on later.

You are right. Instead of spot on, I shall say splash on 🤣 one gotta spent 3 dollars, not satisfy with the product, ended up in disaster, and 5 minutes nag.

The colouring is quite severe. By the look of this, how many of us would imagine how does this thing get digested in our body?

Anyway, the boy picked up a basket and collected a bagful of snack. He shared me a stick of chocolate waffle and I'm very happy, told him to bring home, keep in the fridge so I can eat it later (later the stick of chocolate no where to be found 🤣)
