Let's have fun, share our visual memories from our travels, enrich the STEEM community and earn along the way!

What is Travel Photography? It is that type of the Eight Art where we capture culture, people, landscapes, objects, cityscapes, customs, traditions, events, history, etc. and we express our feeling of the time and the place we visited. We all love it, right? ;)

Rules:

  • Comment under this post with one travel photo:
    • Only one entry per participant
    • You have exactly 24 hours to participate (entries posted after that will not be considered)
    • Use ONLY your own original work, photos will be checked and plagiarism will be flagged and reported
    • No NSFW images
    • Adding your personal touch, a short story, the location, EXIF data, etc. is not obligatory but will definitely make your entry much more appealing and increase your chances of success ;)
    • If your comment contains more than one image I will consider only the first one. You may create a separate post with your photo if you wish, of course!
  • No Upvote, No Resteem, No Follow required. Of course, all the help and support you give is greatly appreciated and absolutely voluntary.

As you probably know, I am a professional photographer, so please show me your good stuff, I will be looking for things like story-telling, creativity, composition, quality, etc. May the best win!

Thank you, @trincowski! Actually those circles remind me of the vines in the volcanic soil in Lanzarote, if you've been there.
Those above are house foundations I guess?

Yes, there are dozens of them, all remains from which used to be houses, a long time ago. This civilization was around centuries before Christ.

I don't know if my entry is valid. This is a church that was built for the British that ran the penal settlement in Port Blair on Andaman Island. The church is on Ross island. Taken with my Canon ixus185 20mp camera and unedited Quick Travel Photo Contest #42

Being from Rajasthan, India I get utmost pride in sharing pictures of my beautiful state. This particular image is taken while my visit to Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. While looking at the photo it looks like some palace, but it's not. It is actually a gate from the main city road to a lake view.

Hampton Court Palace have been through many hands in its 500 year history, it's most famous owner probably being Henry VIII. The Palace has many rich and valuable features including the south front designed by Christopher Wren, one of the England's finest architect.

The Roman Colosseum built in Italy , Rome was built of travertine limestone, tuff, and brick faced concrete, it was the largest amphitheatre ever built at the time which was between 70AD and 80AD and held 50,000 spectators and is still standing today. One of my times in Europe was in Rome.

An ancient architectural house of Saudi Arabia. For now, nobody could get inside this place except the cleaner. It is located in the turned about road near the sea side.

Thank you @lightcaptured

The Pyramid

Famous The Great Pyramid of Giza. One of the most mysterious example pf ancient architecture and probably most stunning. How was built, who did it and for which purpose? I guess still where are much more questions, than real answers...

Quite unusual perspective by long tele-photo lens brings nice contrast of old and modern times with a few to present Giza city as background

Enjoy it!

These are wind chimney, found in Yazd Iran. They're a super smart idea for an ancient time AC.
