Lets take a look at the tribe tokens.
If you have not heard of @spinvest-leo before, what we do is accept delegations of LEO power, and pay a weekly passive return with SPI (spinvest) tokens. The return is calculated on 1 SPI per 1000 LEO delegated per week. Any amount over 10 LEO can be delegated, for a weekly payout. The main @spinvest account transfers it's LEO earnings to us for now to assist the growth of this account. The asset base we are building here from surplus earnings above the mining payouts are added to the Spinvest asset base, increasing the value of the tokens you earn.
The focus for this account is obviously the LEO tokens, but other tokens are also being accumulated and are worth looking at.
LEO.
- We now have over 60,000 LEO delegated to us.
- Mining rewards are payed based on LEO delegation.
- Growing asset base for the overall @spinvest program.
- The main @spinvest account earns from post payouts and delegating SP to @leo.voter
So, what is happening in the LEO tribe?
A marketplace is coming. @khaleelkazi has been hard at work building a brand new marketplace using LEO tokens. This has been teased a few times, and will happen soon. This has the potential to be a game changer, taking SteemLeo to the next level. Besides that, it's business as usual for LEO - lots of burns, very high staking rate compared to most tribes, and the LEODEX offers much better fees to deposit or withdraw STEEMP. If you are not using LEODEX to transact on or off STEEMP you are paying too much. If you deposit STEEM through them, you can still trade on Steem Engine with it.
There has been some volatility based primarily on anouncements and the timing of big investors buying in or selling out. Generally I would consider that since the big spike a few months ago, the trend is steadily upwards, and this is one of the safer tribe tokens in my opinion.
NEOXAG
- Spinvest's other key tribe holding.
- @spinvest-neo performing extremely well so far.
- Tribe founder and heirarchy very supportive of Spinvest.
- Great community in discord, high activity levels.
- Steady token value, regular tweaks to fine tune distribution and rewards.
- Neoxag earnings are a key growth area for Spinvest.
@spinvest-leo arriving in the City of Neoxian seemed to pump the price of the token for a bit, although other factors were also at play. Still, this effect seems to have moderated now and the token has settled back just above its support level of 0.02 STEEM.
PAL.
- Minor holding for Spinvest program.
- Recent announcement's seem to have improved the outlook.
- Once the tribe token leader, now surpased by others and looking to revive its outlook.
- Very small holding, but could be interesting to watch if the price improves.
An airdrop and burn campaign has breathed some life into the token, with a spike over the last week or so. Interesting to watch if this sustains a recovery or reverses back down.
CTP
- A tribe I am looking at, and accumulating anything that @spinvest-leo earns.
- Some cross links between CTP and LEO.
- Interesting use case being implemented make this one to watch in my opinion.
- Currently a very minor holding, but I am interested to accumulate some for the LEO account.
Small market and looks like a big spread between bid/ask. Still I think this one is underrated and one to watch for us.
POINT.
- New airdrop just received.
- Politics focused tribe.
- 3 day payouts (fully staked), 7 day unstaking.
- Price discovery just begining, Airdrop was to LEO hodlers.
- Will watch with interest, hodl our airdrop and accumulate for now.
- Might be an opportunity to tap in to our LEO base and set up another delegate option down the track.
- Interesting one to watch.

Thank you, I like to give people an idea of what I'm thinking, and see if anyone has any feedback for me.
I too am holding the POINT tokens that I got.
I like that SPInvest in becoming a nice place to get exposure to the better opportunities on Steem.
Not a part of this post but the fact the first investment in Splinterlands' cards was just made is very exciting.
And our Beta cards are already worth around 90 STEEM more than we paid for them.
Getting the alpha's tokens is a little harder and we only have 2 tokens so far with a buy order in for another 15 :)
I personally dont play SM's, im too stupid to understand the game but i do understand that it's a solid investment.
Good information.. I did't put two and two together about depositing through the LEOEX some blockchain.
I will also HODL my Point Tokens, keep us informed!!!
LEODEX is great for deposit and withdrawal of STEEM/STEEMP. Cheaper, and fees are used to burn the tokens from coins that have paid to be on their - win/win.

LOL, I like to disagree with you occasionally, makes things fun. We'll have a look in 6 months and see who is right about POINT. A wise man once told me that this is a get rich slow program, can't do that if we flip a freebie over without seeing if it can become an earner for us.
Is the account still giving SPI for delegating Leo?
