Why Steal My Nature?
Today I went on a walk. My main goal was to capture a possible sunset because the clouds were promising enough. To get this thing out of the way I didn't see a sunset I was hoping for. When I arrived, first I realized that my camera's battery was dead so I decided to take some shots with my phone instead.
Now you may wonder why the title like this... When I started my walk I chose one of my usual paths but I got shocked on my way because I saw that a big part of the forest was cut down. There is only one logical explanation for this. All this area is going to be full of houses and streets soon enough. This is sad because as I said it's one of my main walking paths when I want to enjoy nature, forest and field roads. Today I saw it like this.
Damn it was so fucking strange. I have seen this place full of forest basically 20 years. For comparison I have a shot taken of the same place this year's February.
So about 5 months from now this place is a street most probably.
Over the years you have seen hundreds of photos I have taken on this path and shared here in steemit.
For comparison a shot taken of the same place also taken this years's February.
Also this one
This shot below is taken of the tree and when I was a kid my friends and I built a ladder to climb this one. It used to be deep in the forest but now sits in the middle of the clear area. It was a long time ago when I built this ladder and one piece is still there as you can see.
Well, now this place is basically gone. It was kinda expected that this is going to happen, sad. This was not only my nature road but this place is home for many wild animals, for example, foxes, deers, rabbits, beavers and so on. They all have to relocate but to where, all surrounding areas are being constructed as well. There is still a little forest left and also some fields I often visit t get sunset photos, one of them is this I walked today as well.
Probably not long until this one is gone as well. Nothing I can do to stop this building madness to suburban nature covered areas. Let's see what's going to happen. Apartment buildings are already being built on some places in this field and I also follow the progress with pictures. I have shot when there is an empty field and now a shot with the place dug up, so im going to take a photo after every 2 weeks or so and when the apartments are complete I'm going to make a post of this.
