That's some going Steve! Well done on pretty much earning your way to Orca, not many can say that (certainly not me when I get there)! I'm with you, not an investor but can see the potential of this place, which is still finding it's feet I think.

I just cannot justify investing large amounts in anything, but I can spare the time to play around with Hive. If the price goes up then that may look like time well spent. There was a time when my 14k STEEM was worth almost $100k.

I know what you mean, especially in the current climate. Have made a few big purchases but crypto (HIVE and BTC) have probably been my largest investments in terms of spending money. Have spent a lot of time here as well and felt I've got more out of it than being a musician or travel writer when I was on FB.
14k STEEM worth £100k?? Wow, when was that?! Must have been before I joined in March 2018, haven't really known the price to be much more than $1 tops! Crazy to think you have ~3.5x the amount of Hive and it's not even $10k
In January 2018 it was around $8, but not for long. I am happy if we can gradually recover. Sudden spikes make me nervous.
Yeah there was a sudden spike with the whole Huobi listing after Hive launched which noticeably dropped once that promotion was over. Shame that's the way things go in crypto, seems it's all about the quick cash grabs for the most part before hopping on to the next big pump.
