Just a couple of weeks ago, I was visiting relatives in St. Petersburg. The weather was not very good, but I visited many museums and exhibitions. And my niece (she is 19 years old) suddenly told me that she practices a little drawing. To my surprise, she likes to depict urban landscapes. One evening we agreed to draw together, and that I would tell her some of the subtleties of working with a simple pencil.
Anastasia (that's my niece's name) had a couple of A5 albums and we started drawing. The most difficult thing was to build the perspective and individual details of the scene. Although the geometry of the drawing is not very complex, it was important to tell how to properly distribute the sections of houses, while making the correct angles of the lines.
I hope that Nastya enjoyed our joint drawing and will remember how we worked together. As a result, we got these drawings, which I publish in today's post.
Paper, simple pencil, dimensions 15x20 cm
Looks similar to the "Italy" Counter-Strike map, which is one of my favorite Counter-Strike maps. I like it.
Wow! I am a PC-gamer too! Thanks!
That's a beautiful landscape drawing. I love the way you made those flowers.
Thank you, friend @maxwellmarcusart : )

Thank you. I'll tell her about this : )
She is talented! I hope she will pursue arts
She draws more for herself, for fun. But perhaps she will do more professional things in the future. : )
Drawing architecture is very difficult. It only takes a few mistakes to throw the perspective off completely. Very nicely done. I’m sure spending this time with your niece was great fun.
Anastasia loves to draw architecture. This is probably because she lives in a beautiful city and sees the eternal beauty of palaces and museums every day.
