Weekly Hive update - 183
Another week has passed, so it is time for a new update.
Progress
Last week I was on 7176.5 HP, now I'm on 7194.0, an increase of 0.24%. This is an average to small increase for me. The dollar value is down a lot from $5,856 to $4,552.
Below you can see the graph in which both my Hive Power holdings and the corresponding dollar value are shown. The dollar value is the lowest since October last year.

Below you can see how the Hive value of all tokens evolved compared to last week.
In general, not a lot of change compared to last week. That's bad news, because Hive was down a lot. SPI however did went up. That's great, because it's my largest holding. Leo, my second largest holding, is up a bit too. In total, the result (measured in Hive) hence is quite positive.

Although the dollar value went down, the Hive total looks solid. Now it’s a matter of Hive climbing back up at some point! Something we all want tosee happen I guess :-)
What’s your experience with SPI? You seem quite invested in it. I have seen the project before but didn’t know if it would be worth diving in.

You're right. Imagine a $10 Hive price with these kinds of Hive (Power)
SPI has been a very good investment for me. Especially since I bought most tokens/shares early when they were 1 Hive each and the Hive price was also low. Since then the price increased a lot and there was even a moment when you got more tokens based on the amount you already held. It hence was a quite lucrative investment.
The "problem" with SPI is that it already performed a lot above expectation, so there isn't too much room to the upside.
The "good" thing is that you can usually get it a lot under the true value (around 3.5 Hive nowadays), so it is easy to make some money straightaway. And the fund management is really dedicated and consistent.
Thanks, it still sounds interesting. I guess when I have some funds available (not locked up), I will need to investigate my options a bit more carefully regarding SPI!
