TITOLO POST STEEMIT FICO copia.jpg

Hi guys, as I write this post the thermometer is 37 degrees and it's about 6pm!
Incredible!

Today I am telling you about a couple of weeks ago when I went to Imer,
a small town of about 1200 inhabitants in Trentino Alto Adige which is located in the Primiero valley.

ITA

Imer is located 670 meters above sea level and even though it was almost evening, it was hot! Fortunately, walking away from the main road the situation was better, with a bit of wind that cooled as I climbed up the streets.

Walking through Imer you will find rustic buildings that have a typical charm of exposed wood and stone buildings.

ITA

The bell tower of the church stood out from the other buildings, it was as if it invited me to go up again to reach it and enjoy the view of the landscape.

ITA

Very beautiful are the flowers that embellish the corners of Imer making it even more suggestive and cheerful.

The paving with square porphyry blocks gives an additional rustic touch, it is also very nice to cross the wooden bridges over the Rio San Pietro.

The church is simple, with a gable roof and the bell tower leaning against the main body.

The interior, although very dark, is pleasant. Definitely, a cool place, where you can regenerate from the suffocating heat of this fiery summer.

ITA

In front of the church there are hiking trails that also include a rope bridge, not bad!

As I went down, the view was not bad, I could see the Primiero valley with Monte Pavione in the background.

ITA

Along the Rio San Pietro there was an ancient stone basin that was used in the past to clean clothes.

I continued north along an asphalted road that connected to Mezzano, another beautiful town that you can see in an old post of mine.

Yes, it is a beautiful town, very quiet, where you can relax and regenerate.

I am surprised that there are only 1200 inhabitants in that town, how do they make a living? I had this doubt

What great pictures my friend, I love the style you describe of the houses, that mix of wood and stone is beautiful.

Very good publication bro, have a nice day.

Thank you! Mountain villages usually have few inhabitants.

Usually the inhabitants work in tourist activities or travel by car because they work outside the city.

Hi @alequandro! I'm glad to meet you. On August 12, I plan to fly to Rome. Can you advise where to settle at a distance of 50 km from the sea, so that renting housing for a month is not too expensive?

Can you be found in Telegram, or Facebook, or other social networks?

Hi, I live in northern Italy, so I can't advise you the best.
The advice I can give you is to use AirBnb and do a detailed search using google maps and tripadvisor.
