Skoda Fabia:

There have been three different generations so far. And when I was looking to create content on this subject, I learned that by 2021, the fourth generation Fabia is coming.

The Fabia was first produced by Skoda in the Czech Republic in 1999. Later, the brand joined the Wolksvagen group and continued its adventure as a Wolksvagen Group brand.

Now I want to give brief and concise information about these three generations of Fabia.

Fabia I:

Fabia I was produced between 1999 and 2007. In fact, we can say that it was the continuation of the Felicia model. For this, I can say that 90% same parts are used in spare parts. It was produced on the platform where Wolksvagen Polo and Seat Ibiza were produced. For this, we can call these three models siblings.

Although the Fabia I was made up in 2004 and 2006, the design remained the same until 2007.

It had gasoline engines ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 and diesel engines ranging from 1.4 to 1.9.

While the hatchback model was very common, there were also sedan and station wagon models.

Her body style was mostly round and soft.

Fabia II:

Fabia II was produced between 2007 and 2014. It is slightly larger than its predecessor. It is larger than the Fabia I in length and height but slightly narrower in width. It received 4 stars in Euro NCAP tests.

In 2010, with a small update, it started to be made different from the roof color body. Hatchback and station wagon options were available as type.

Petrol engines varying between 1.2 and 1.6 and diesel engines varying between 1.2 and 1.9 were available.

As a body style, it had more angular and sharp lines compared to its predecessor.

Fabia III:

Fabia III was produced between 2014 and 2021. (From this year I learned that the fourth generation Fabia will be produced.) Although its length is shorter than its predecessor, it is larger in height and width. It received 5 stars in Euro NCAP tests.

It is available with a 1.0 to 1.2 petrol engine and 1.4 diesel engine options. Engine displacement may be low, but with the developing TSI technology, these engines have high torques. Diesel engines have been removed from the options since 2019.

It has sharp lines as a body style. Especially triangular characters add a nice look. It is also my favorite generation.
