Hello everyone

I had the opportunity to visit my sister and sister-in-law in Tak Province which is a province adjacent to the Myanmar border surrounded by mountains and forests, most of the people's occupation is agriculture.

My sister's house is the closest to the border, the village looks like it is in a valley. My family was engaged in agriculture, in summer she opened a small boat noodle shop on the banks of the Moei River, the atmosphere there is very good which is the river that nourishes this village.

บัวได้มีโอกาสไปเยี่ยมน้องสาว และน้องเขยที่จังหวัดตาก ซึ่งเป็นจังหวัดที่อยู่ติดชายแดนไทยและพม่า สภาพภูมิศาสตร์จึงเป็นภูเขาและป่าไม้ ชาวบ้านส่วนใหญ่ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรม บ้านน้องสาวบัวอยู่ติดชายแดนมาก แค่ข้ามแม่น้ำเมยไปก็เป็นประเทศพม่าแล้ว น้องสาวก็มีอาชีพเป็นเกษตรกร ฤดูแล้งก็ขายก๋วยเตี๋ยวริมฝั่งแม่น้ำเมย ซึ่งบรรยากาศดีมากๆ

Phop Phra District, Tak Province is the hometown that I have lived in since childhood. So I have friends who are Burmese, Karen, and hill tribes I can't speak their language. But they are very good at speaking Thai can write Thai characters.

Today I will take everyone on a boat ride on the Moei River. and to experience the life of the Myanmar people along the Thai border.

สวัสดีคร้าาาาาา..... วันเน้.... บัวจะพาเพื่อนๆ ล่องเรือหารัก เฮ้ย!!!.... ล่องเรือชมริมสองฝั่งแม่น้ำเมย และไปชมวิถึชีวิตของพม่าเพื่อนบ้านของเรานั่นเอง บัวโตที่นี่ เรียนหนังสือที่นี่จึงมีเพื่อนเป็นทั้งชาวพม่า กระเหรี่ยง และชาวเขาเผ่าต่างๆ พวกเราพูด และเขียนภาษาไทยได้ แต่บัวพูดและเขียนภาษาพวกเขาไม่ได้ 555 แม่น้ำเมยเป็นแม่น้ำสายสำคัญที่กั้นพรหมแดนระหว่างไทยกับพม่า ต้นกำเนิดแม่น้ำเมยอยู่ที่อำเภอพบพระนั่นเอง แล้วก็ไหลผ่านอำเภอแม่สอด ยาวไปจนถึงจังหวัดแม่ฮ่องสอน และสิ้นสุ้นที่อ่าวมะตะบันประเทศพม่านั่นเอง แม่น้ำเมยเป็นเหมือนสายน้ำที่หล่อเลี้ยงชีวิตของคนอยู่ริมสองฝั่งเมย เป็นแม่น้ำที่สำคัญในการลำเลียงสิ่งของต่างๆ

The Moei River is a river that is not very wide. In summer, some waters dry up and dunes are visible. Able to walk across the shore to meet each other between Thai and Myanmar people

แม่น้ำเมยบริเวณนี้เป็นแม่น้ำที่ไม่กว้างมากนัก ในฤดูแล้งน้ำบางจุดจะแห้งและมองเห็นเนินทราย สามารถเดินข้ามฝั่งไปมาหาสู่กันระหว่างชาวไทยและชาวเมียนมาร์ได้

On both sides of Rim Moei, you can see the small and large mountains. Some mountains have caves as well.

สองฝั่งริมเมยสามารถมองเห็นภูเขาที่มีขนาดเล็กและใหญ่ ภูเขาบางลูกมีถ้ำด้วย

The Moei River is home to many different types of fish villagers go out to fish for a living.

แม่น้ำเมยมีปลามากมายหลากหลายชนิดอาศัยอยู่ ชาวบ้านออกหาปลาเพื่อเลี้ยงชีพ

Arriving at the cave area, the boatman moored and we climbed up the steep bank of the river. This place is full of bamboo. The walkway is earthy but the villagers made the walkway with bamboo that looks like steps for an easy climb to the top.

เมื่อมาถึงบริเวณถ้ำคนขับเรือจึงจอดเรือและพวกเราก็ปีนขึ้นริมตลิ่งที่มีความสูงชัน บริเวณนี้เต็มไปด้วยต้นไผ่ ทางเดินเป็นดินแต่มีชาวบ้านทำทางเดินด้วยไม้ไผ่มีลักษณะเหมือนขั้นบันไดเพื่อง่ายต่อการปีนขึ้นไปด้านบน

Climbing to the top of the cliff is a ladder made of bamboo there are several small Buddha images on the ledge. Inside is a cave, but cannot enter because it's just a small channel if we enter, we will have to crawl inside. So we only see the view around the cliff than take a boat back to the pier.

การปีนขึ้นไปบนชะง่อนหน้าผาจะมีบันไดที่ทำจากไม้ไผ่ ตรงบริเวณชะง่อนหน้าผ้าจะมีพระพุทธรูปองค์เล็กๆ อยู่หลายองค์ ด้านในเป็นถ้ำแต่ไม่สามารถเข้าไปได้ เพราะเป็นเพียงช่องเล็กๆ ถ้าเข้าไปจะต้องคลานเข้าไป พวกเราจึงชมวิวแค่บริเวณหน้าผา จากนั้นก็นั่งเรือกลับไปยังท่าน้ำ

The next morning we went to my granddaughter's friend's house as an honorary tour guide. Which is on the Myanmar side by taking a ferry to then walking into the village. The Myanmar side is now developing a casino for gamblers and several Chinese people are living in this area.

เช้าวันถัดมาพวกเราไปเที่ยวบ้านเพื่อนของหลานสาวบัวเป็นไกด์กิตตมศักดิ์ ซึ่งอยู่ฝั่งพม่าโดยนั่งเรือข้ามฟากไป จากนั้นก็เดินเข้าไปยังหมู่บ้าน ฝั่งพม่าตอนนี้กำลังพัฒนามีบ่อนคาสิโนสำหรับนักเสี่ยงโชคด้วย และมีชาวจีนจำนวนหนึ่งเข้ามาอยู่อาศัยบริเวณนี้พอสมควร

She took us to see her house. All houses are built similarly, each house has a fence made of bamboo separating it. There is electricity and water here. The village-style reminds me back to when I was a kid 30 years ago, the houses in Thailand would look like this.

นางพาพวกเราไปดูบ้านของนาง ลักษณะบ้านเรือนจะสร้างคล้ายๆ กันทั้งหมด บ้านแต่ละหลังจะมีรั้วที่ทำจากไม้ไผ่กั้นเป็นสัดส่วน ที่นี่มีไฟฟ้าและน้ำประปาใช้ ลักษณะหมู่บ้านทำให้บัวนึกย้อนกลับไปเมื่อยังเด็กเมื่อ 30 ปีที่แล้ว บ้านเรือนของประเทศไทยก็จะมีลักษณะคล้ายๆ แบบนี้

I asked my niece's friend if there was tap water here? She said yes, but I saw a Burmese woman bringing several plastic water bottles to collect water at the water spout. Probably because the water supply here doesn't work very well.

Then she took us to visit the temple in the village which is a small temple that the villagers have a lot of respect for.

จากนั้นไกด์กิติมศักดิ์ของเราก็พาไปชมวัด ซึ่งเป็นวัดเล็กๆ ในหมู่บ้าน ที่ชาวบ้านให้ความเคารพนับถือ

She took us around the village, a small village, then take them to eat famous food here.

ไกด์ตัวน้อยพาพวกเราชมรอบๆ หมู่บ้าน ซึ่งเป็นหมู่บ้านเล็กๆ จากนั้นก็พาไปกินอาหารขึ้นชื่อของที่นี่

The famous dish here is pork offal which is boiled in broth, dipped in chili sauce served with fresh chili, fresh garlic, sipping hot soup. When you're full, count the skewer, they sell it for 1 baht per stick (0.030$).

อาหารขึ้นชื่อของที่นี่คือเครื่องในหมูต้มน้ำซุป แล้วเสียบเป็นไม้ๆ วางไว้บนตระแกรง นำมาจิ้มกับซอสพริก ทานพร้อมกับพริกสด กระเทียมสด ซดน้ำซุปร้อนๆ เขาขายราคาไม้ละ 1 บาท (0.030$)

The children ate deliciously.

เด็กๆ กินอย่างเอร็ดอร่อย หลังจากที่อิ่มแปล้วแล้ว ก็มานับไม้ว่ากินไปทั้งหมดกี่ไม้ พวกเราทั้งหมด 6 คน กินไปทั้งหมด 100 ไม้ ก็จ่าย 100 บาท

After we were full and counted how many skewers we had eaten. All 6 of us eat 100 skewers and pay 100 baht (3.00$) After paying, we go across the river to go back to Thailand.
