A Summer Friday
Friday has been a challenging work day. Call volume was not too busy, but my system experienced issues and the software for call processing repeatedly froze up while I was on calls. My patience was at an all-time low.
The house was quiet because the dogs went to the vet for a bath and a nail trim. That didn't prevent Newt the cat from making sure the house ran smoothly.
After work, Jeff went to the airport to fly to Erie, PA to pick up our grandsons. They will spend the weekend with us and go to the airport tomorrow for the annual Fly-In. Jeff invited all the kids to the event. He will be up early. Since the event lasts until 3:00 PM I will take my time getting to the airport. That is a long day for me.
Tonight we took the kids to the local Chinese buffet. We've been frequent flyers there so the staff know us well and welcomes us each visit.
After returning from dinner I pulled out my sketch tablet and doodled with a needle pen. I want to explore more avenues of art. My Tombow water pens arrived. I intend to experiment with watercolor pens. Last week I got the Tombow Dual Art Pens and a watercolor paper tablet.

I get tired of the laptop getting finicky! The annual (yearly) Fly in is where airplanes fly into the same airport. There is food to purchase and activities for the attendees.
