You and I very often see one species of flying insect named Dragonfly Ciwet, they are one of the dragonflies that belong to the Libellulidae family. Entomologists say that this species originates from the Pantala hymenaea, sometimes referred to as the spot-winged glider uniquely it is the only member of the genus Pantala of the subfamily Pantalinae. In our area, especially the coast, this species is often seen the most and even in every corner of the world

Today, I want to share with friends here, about a situation that suddenly occurred, namely the arrival of one of the flying insects named Dragonfly Ciwet.

With the size of a child's index finger, it is clearly visible from a distance, especially the transparent color in the sunlight that illuminates every regular flap of its wings. He looked very charming while flying and finally landed on one of the front fences of the house.

The ciwet dragonfly, has a slightly larger body posture, looks like a female, because it looks very enthusiastic in every movement, seems to be looking for something lost or lost on the way, it may look so, then it looks for a way to walk and stops on one of the small poles that is on the fence post.

When this Ciwet Dragonfly stops at the fence post, it gives me an opportunity, and makes it easy to take pictures, but when taking pictures it looks like it feels foreign to someone's presence, because it always changes locations, from one point to another.

This doesn't make me bored, because I really understand all dragonfly behavior, in general dragonflies will always be wary of any behavior that comes from outside themselves, instinctively always guard and be aware of every visible movement, therefore he is always alert, and keep moving if approached by the shadow of something large.

Dealing with flying insects especially wild ones, you must have patience and adequate technique because they are prone to movement, you must always be calm when you want to get photos at close range

In a period of about 25 minutes, I managed to get some photos of them, although sometimes the poses look similar. For a clearer view from a close direction you can see it, below :

The pictures you see above in the photo are 30 cm apart, why not pose differently because I was afraid to be disturbed by the movement of my phone, so I got the results as you can see in this post.

It is a very pleasant thing to be able to see it from a very close direction, when looking at the Ciwet Dragonfly.

So today's activity, which happened suddenly, and became a moment to be able to write here, I hopefully you yourself enjoy it as much as I do today.

Thank you very much
