Lockdown? What lockdown?

So! It finally came, not the brightest thing to talk about since the situation. It's been on and off, open and close, month over month, and now year after another. And now, lockdown commenced. You don't wanna know how I got these photos but rest assured I'm doing it safely and with a purpose, and most important legally.

Streets are quiet, but there are still a few more cowboys stop their car by the roadside and do exercises with a few other friends. Is there any clinical studies saying people won't pass the damn virus when they're doing workout?

image.png

The lake looks extremely calm, minus occupants hanging around, no dogs barking, no kids chasing, absolutely quiet!

image.png

So quiet as if I'm gonna stay here for a little longer, later there will be crime scene investigator searching for a dead body. Better move fast!

image.png

Could have use a shorter route to get to the restaurant, but am glad I walk through this busy junction to find absolutely nobody around here. Bikers usually like to hangout at the junction and pointing fingers, bragging and praising each other's bike so they all feel good with their "investments".

Second stage

image.png

I guess that's about that much of healthy stuff goes with those morning walk pictures, walked to McDonald's to buy breakfast takeout yo! Love my egg omelet with sausage.

image.png

Rojak, it's a kind of fusioned salad stall. Local Chinese and Malay likes to mixed fruits in thick soy sauce, and shrimp paste and not fogetting chili pepper to add some spice to it. No I didn't buy it, I just take this photo to make sure they're still surviving during this situation. I'll probably come back and order this one.

image.png
I think this stall is new, becaue I didn't notice such a bling bling armored chicken rice stall. Chicken skin tone looked a little too bright, I'm not too confident. May be one day I will try.

image.png

This is the middle section of the food court, where I'm trying to buy lunch for us. It totally loses it's crowd from the norm. Nobody wants the new norm, but it is what it is.

image.png

Found a roast duck shop, but that's not my mission today. Take a photo and keep a record, I'm gonna pass for today, and probably come back again next time around.

image.png

Now this is one epic chicken rice shop. Lockdown? What lockdown? People are still queuing up to grab their chicken rice. By the look of this, you'll know how crazily good their roasted chicken is.

image.png

This is what I wanted to get for my lunch. The Chinese BBQ pork dog. Sorry for non-halal. I hope I'll be able to find one halal shop with BBQ Chickn dog instead.

image.png

At home enjoying my pork bacon bun. Extremely satisfying yo!

image.png

And dinner was a feast. Home minister went out and did some printing, and pack satey for us, and the Thai style stew pork knuckle. Her mother made us some corn soup and a bowl of curry tofu.

image.png

This is the latest addition, we have a new BBQ stall less than 1km away from my house. I could actually walk there and pack my satey in the evening if I'm crave for it.

image.png

Homemade curry tofu, ladyfinger, long beans and cauliflower. With this, you just can't go down without white rice. That pretty much sums up the crazy lockdown event.

Seriosuly dude, it's like a home vacation yo! Lockdown? What lockdown?

Well, the food scene is still alive and well. I guess the lockdown is only for non-essential travel, correct? I assume this loophole allows people to go to supermarkets and hawkers like this. Don't keep a man between him and his food.

Thanks for stopping by. The lockdown is actually tighter, but they just don't stop the people, because instead of going to jail, government impose fine. So, if you don't wear you mask, you'll have to pay RM1500. Thats' about $350. LOL
