¡Hola amados! Espero se encuentren bien.
Hoy traigo otro modelito de tarjeta, está inspirada en unas mariposas troqueladas en color dorado que compré hace algunos años y por mucho que le di vueltas no sabía dónde integrar una a mis manualidades hasta hoy.
Hace poco alguien me dijo que hay algo que lo identifica de mis creaciones ya sean dibujos o manualidades, todas siempre llevan al menos una mariposa y colibríes, eso se ha echo distintivo en mi marca personal, tiene razón. las uso por su significado espiritual, su simbología y porque las asocio con mi madre.
Esta tarjeta de regalo artesanal destaca por sus detalles en morado con purpurina y la mariposa que es la figura principal, abre desde su parte central y descubre el interior como un tríptico, luego, cuando la cierras, los paneles laterales se doblan hacia el centro como si fueran dos ventanas ¿Qué tal?
No saben cómo amo esto.

Hello, everyone! I hope you’re all well.
Today I’m sharing another little card design; it’s inspired by some gold-coloured die-cut butterflies I bought a few years ago, and no matter how much I thought about it, I didn’t know where to incorporate one into my crafts until today.
Recently, someone told me that there’s something distinctive about my creations, whether they’re drawings or craft projects – they all always feature at least one butterfly and hummingbirds. That’s become a hallmark of my personal brand, and they’re right. I use them for their spiritual meaning, their symbolism, and because I associate them with my mum.
This handmade gift card stands out for its purple glitter details and the butterfly, which is the main feature. It opens from the centre to reveal the inside like a triptych; then, when you close it, the side panels fold towards the centre as if they were two windows. What do you think?

Now I’ll show you my creative process and how I put it together – it’s easy.

De una cartulina tamaño carta, corto la mitad. La mitad de la misma la uso para la tarjeta.
Divido la pieza por la mitad para saber la medida de las dos piezas laterales.
Doblo ambos laterales que queden con abertura en el centro.
Tomo una pieza de cartulina decorada y recorto del tamaño de la pieza central interna, luego aplico pegamento y pego.
Repito el procedimiento en la parte interna de los laterales con una cartulina fondo plano pero esta tiene brillantina.
Recorto varias tiras de 1 centímetro de cartulina lila y azul marino .
Cierro la tarjeta y pego sobre el frente de la tarjeta diagonales intercalando cada una.

I cut a sheet of letter-sized cardstock in half. I use one half of it for the card.
I divide the piece in half to work out the measurements for the two side pieces.
I fold both sides so that there is an opening in the centre.
I take a piece of decorated cardstock and cut it to the size of the inner central piece, then I apply glue and stick it on.
I repeat the process on the inside of the side panels using plain cardstock, but this time I use glitter card.
I cut several 1-centimetre-wide strips from lilac and navy blue card.
I close the card and stick the strips diagonally across the front, alternating their positions.

Recorta los sobrantes y corta por el centro para que abra nuevamente.
Pega la mariposa en una cartulina fondo plano, yo usé el mismo color azul marino.
Recorta la forma de la mariposa dejando 0.5 centímetros de borde.
Aplica pegamento solo en la mitad de la mariposa y pega en uno de los laterales en este caso el izquierdo.

Trim off the excess and cut down the centre so that it opens up again.
Stick the butterfly onto a piece of flat card; I used the same navy blue colour.
Cut out the shape of the butterfly, leaving a 0.5-centimetre border.
Apply glue only to the middle of the butterfly and stick it to one of the sides – in this case, the left-hand side.

Organiza los stickers que usarás. Yo no pretendo sobre cargarlo.
En un procesador de texto, he transcrito mis propios mensajes, luego los imprimí y recorte, usé una letra aesthetic muy bonita.
Pegué uno en el centro, recortando dejando un margen y luego coloqué un trozo de cartulina blanca a la que pinté el borde con un marcador, esto lo dejé en blanco, la intención es colocarle la dedicatoria escrita a mano para la persona.
Sobre el trozo de cartulina blanca pegué una mariposa.
En los laterales he pegado más mensajes dedicados con unos stickers que he guardado por años y aun tengo muchos.
Espero les guste este modelo de tarjeta para regalar.

Organise the stickers you’re going to use. I don’t want to overload it.
In a word processor, I typed out my own messages, then printed them out and cut them out; I used a really pretty, aesthetic font.
I stuck one in the centre, cutting it out to leave a border, and then placed a piece of white card on top, the edge of which I coloured with a marker; I left this blank, as the idea is to add a handwritten dedication for the recipient.
I stuck a butterfly onto the piece of white card.
On the sides, I’ve stuck on more personalised messages using some stickers I’ve been keeping for years – and I’ve still got loads of them.
I hope you like this design for a gift card.

It’s true that butterflies have a special meaning, and they do for me too, as they symbolise change and transformation; it’s also said that, like hummingbirds, they are messages from people who have passed on to the other side. I love butterflies.
At first I thought it must be a complicated card, but you’ve made it look simple in the step-by-step guide. What’s more, everyone can choose the stickers they like best and mix and match the colours.
