Tease Us! The Project // Amigurumis for beginners // Amigurumis para novatos

Happy Monday #NeedleWorkMonday family. Today is a very special day, as today we will be showcasing the first part of our "Tease Us" challenge. In and of itself super excited about how this is all going to play out.

First of all, once I read @marblely's proposal in her post Tease us, I was in one piece. No idea what I was going to do.

I have never made a post about an unfinished project. I always wait until the end, until I have everything finished to be able to publish it... but since there is always a first time, well here I am in my debut!!! And from what I read, it's the debut of many hahaha.

First of all my materials: orange, brown and yellow cotton yarn. I might add some white, but I don't know that yet. That's the magic of showing an unfinished work and I don't even know how it will end. I'm also going to use a wool needle to join the pieces, some eyes and anti-allergic stuffing. So far... you know what I'm going to do... yes, I know the title says amigurumi, but what will be the figure? I hope you can get it right.

I started knitting a magic ring of 5 chains and at each turn I increased the number of strands, until I got to a point where it looked like a hat, yes that's it! A hat for my amigurumi... or maybe a cup holder. Here I show you how the work is going....

As I continued to make increases it stopped looking like a hat to give way to wings ... ... maybe I'll knit a little orange angel, unconventional, but why not!

Continuing with my work of art, because that's what I believe in amigurumis, I knit 7 chains and started to knit half stitches in a wraparound way, with each round I made increases, to finally give way to ..... Hahaha that's definitely a vase, I put some flowers in it and that's it, it's ready!

But as today, the title of my post says: Amigurumis for beginners, that is, you don't have to know how to knit to make an amigurumi, take note and look for the following materials: cotton yarn of the color of your choice, eyes (can be buttons, I actually used buttons), and lots of imagination.

Take the materials and make an amigurumi in two minutes ... please see the image.

AHORA EN ESPAÑOL

Feliz lunes familia de #NeedleWorkMonday. Hoy es un día muy especial, pues hoy mostraremos la primera parte de nuestro reto “Tease Us”. De por si super emocionada sobre cómo va a ser el desarrollo de todo esto.

Primero que nada, una vez leí la propuesta de @marblely en su post Tease us, quedé en una pieza. Ni idea de lo que iba a hacer.

Nunca he realizado un post sobre un proyecto no terminado. Siempre espero hasta el final, hasta tener todo terminado para poder publicarlo… pero como siempre hay una primera vez, pues aquí estoy en mi debut!! Y por lo que leí, es el debut de muchas jajaja.

Primero que nada mis materiales: hilo algodón color naranja, marrón y amarillo. Quizá agregue algo de blanco, pero eso todavía no lo sé. Esa es la magia de mostrar un trabajo no terminado y es que ni yo sé cómo terminará. También voy a utilizar aguja lanera para unir las piezas, unos ojitos y relleno antialérgico. Hasta este momento… sabes que voy a hacer… si, lo sé el titulo dice amigurumi, pero cuál será la figura? Espero puedas acertar.

Comencé tejiendo un anillo mágico de 5 cadenetas y a cada vuelta hacia aumentos, hasta que llegó un momento que parecía un sombrero, si eso es! Un sombrero para mi amigurumi… o tal vez un porta vasos. Aquí les muestro cómo va la obra…

A medida que seguía haciendo aumentos dejó de parecer un sombrero para dar paso a unas alas? … quizá vaya a tejer un angelito naranja, poco convencional, pero y por qué no!!!

Continuando con mi obra de arte, porque eso es lo que creo de los amigurumis, tejí 7 cadenetas y comencé a tejer medio puntos en forma envolventes, a cada vuelta hacía aumentos, para finalmente dar paso a …. Jajaja definitivamente eso es un jarrón, le coloco unas flores y listo, ya quedó!

Pero como hoy, el titulo de mi post dice: Amigurumis para novatos, es decir, no tienes que saber tejer para hacer un amigurumi, toma nota y busca los siguientes materiales: Hilo algodón del color de tu preferencia, ojos (pueden ser botones, la verdad yo use botones), y mucha imaginación.

Tomas los materiales y haces un amigurumi en dos minutos … por favor ve la imagen.
