Walking with my mom I found a great treasure: A Fregosa plant

While walking with my mom in the community where I live we found a great treasure: a beautiful Fregosa plant that adorned the front of a house.

She was the one who warned her and pointed out to me where she was. Without hesitation, I took out my phone and took pictures of her. This plant has a characteristic appearance that makes it recognizable once you get to know it.

My mom told me that Grandma had one of those plants and used it to treat stomach pains. Intrigued, I decided to investigate a little more and that is what I want to share with you today.

Origin and characteristics of the Fregosa

Fregosa or Capraria Bifloria is native to South America and thrives well in tropical climates. It can reach approximately 1 meter in height and is quite lush. Its leaves are slightly elongated and fine-tipped. Its green color is intense and striking.

Uses of the Fregosa

As I told you at the beginning of this publication, this plant can be used to treat stomach conditions related to colic and poor digestion.

It can also be used to treat conditions related to menstrual problems. This makes it ideal for those days when we can all feel a little bad.

Similarly, the mop serves to improve flu processes. In this sense, my mom remembered that my grandmother used to make a tea with its leaves to lower fever and control colds.

The more I researched, the more I became convinced of the value of this plant, because it can also be used to control tension and, on top of all that, I learned that we can also use it to treat our skin by making it look cleaner and more radiant.

I'm going to try it and tell you how it went.

Preparation

Well, in this aspect, I looked up information directly with my grandmother and she told me that she mainly made tea from the leaves and drank it two or three times a day.

In addition, she added that in order to lower the fever, one could take baths with her.

Having said this, I want to tell you that nature gives us a great variety of options to improve or alleviate some diseases, however, it is necessary to have clear that we must remember that each organism is different and, therefore, we must control the intake of these plants.

The photo belongs to my personal gallery and was taken with a Vtelca phone. The sepradores were made in powerpoint
