Hello feathered friends happy evening to you all! Doves are one of the most common birds in Villahermosa Mex., you can see them anywhere in the city. In front of my building there are some trees where there are always these little friends resting, making their nest or as you can see in these photos courting each other.

A few days ago I observed these two couples courting, one was in a tree near my window and the other in another tree near the building in front.

This first picture seems to me the most tender. I don't know which is the male but you can see the connection between them, I thought they would make their nest on those branches but after a while they left and didn't come back anymore.

Hola amigos feliz tarde para todos! Las tórtolas son unas de las aves más comunes en Villahermosa Mex., las puedes ver por cualquier parte de la ciudad. Frente a mi edificio hay varios árboles donde siempre hay estas pequeñas amiguitas descansando, haciendo su nido o como ven en estas fotos cortejando unas a otras.

Hace unos días observe estas dos parejas cortejando, una estaba en un árbol cerca de mi ventana y la otra en otro árbol cerca al edificio del frente.

Esta primera foto me parece la más tierna. No se cuál es el macho pero se puede ver la conexión entre ellas, pensé que harían su nido en esas ramas pero luego de un rato se fueron y ya no volvieron mas.

And this is the other couple I told you about, they began to make their nest, if you look closely you can see the branches that one of them has in its beak. I watched them for a while, but after starting the nest and showing love, they left the tree.

I think they saw the tree very insecure, or maybe they saw me watching them and felt threatened or the love just didn't last very long. The good thing about it is that I was able to take these pictures and bring you this little if you can say, story.

Y esta es la otra pareja de las que les hablé, ello sí empezaron a hacer su nido, si se fijan bien pueden ver las ramas que trae una de ellas en su pico. Las observe por un buen tiempo, pero Lugo de comenzar el nido y de darse muestras de amor, abandonaron el árbol.

Pienso que vieron muy inseguro el árbol, o tal vez me vieron observándolas y se sintieron amenazadas o simplemente el amor les dura muy poco. Lo bueno de todo esto es que las pude fotografiar y traerles a uds. esta pequeña si se puede decir, historia.
