AER crowd character: LordHyena
Hyenas tend to be punks or warriors or punk warriors and I was pretty tempted but nope because it's LORDnigel, that called for a civil, classy hyena.
He may end up with ear piercings down the line.

Interesting stuff, ryivhnn. I think hyenas should definitely be allowed to break the hyena stereotype of badness, so big thumbs up for classy. :)

But Omg...they’re hyenas? They’re way too cute. You’re right....Lion King corrupted me. But since you got me interested in hyenas and I swear everything can be linked back to Ancient Egypt (that’s the theme of my writing project), I googled and found ‘striped hyenas’ in Egypt. I’ll quote from source (http://www.egyptindependent.com/endangered-species-egypts-striped-hyena/):

As you can see, poor hyenas have had a bad rep since Ancient Times. :-(
But maybe I’ll give one of my characters a lovable hyena pet thanks to your bit of inspiration. xx
He looks very deep in thought, unlike most hyenas which look like they are up to something.
Are we talking about normal hyenas or anthro hyenas? Anthro hyenas usually do look like they're up to something, probably due to aforementioned stereotype ;D
The regular kind. I'm not really up on the anthro kind.
Well the regular kind probably always look like they're up to something because they're usually looking for food, and once found, looking for anything that might steal their food, and if spotting something that might steal their food, trying to work out if it's worth defending against XD

That's a dreamy and intelligent looking anthro hyena. I had to look that word up, although I should have known what you meant, having had Greek in high school, haha
Looking at your replies to comments on your post, I guess that the reason it takes you a while to come up with your characters, is merely due to the amount of research you do. How many hours have you spend watching National Geographic Channel for this? ;>)

LoL I wish I had spent hours watching NatGeo, I do like stuff like that XD I usually just take what I got asked for, and then whatever I know about the person, and at some point I end up with a character. Then I need photo refs. It can take as little as 5min (as happened with Ninjaroo and DollaGoat) and as long as a day (so far, there's probably some out there that could take longer).

I loved to watch NatGeo and all kinds of wild life shows, one of the few things that I miss now I don't have a TV.
That's a classy hyena for sure. The only one you'll ever see..lol.. they're the complete opposite of civil and classy.... you have done the impossible!!!!

That's the classiest hyena I've ever seen. I normally look at hyenas as opportunistic scavengers, but I guess I was just generalizing. Glad to see the mold broken!
I'm all about breaking moulds and stereotypes :D Or at least poking fun at them ;D
If I were a hyena, I would be laughing maniacally now. But, if I was a Lord, I would be all too cool for school.
