AER crowd character: DJ Kubby
So I started drawing, and I got carried away with a girl with a short skirt and looooooooooong jacket, and I love drawing long unrestrained hair, and then there was pink. Soooooo muuuuuuuuch pink. But my shadow layer was on multiply and it was making everything look so desaturated, I wanted it to be a little bit more vibrant so switched it to an overlay. Ack! Be careful what you wish for! But we have bright colours.
And then I remembered, KubbyElizabeth said kangaroo with a mohawk. [headdesk]
I'll fix that up with an amendment sketch that I'll group with meesterboom's later on down the track (he needs tattoos, may be a Clan Flyer).

Soooo piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiink XD (even the white and black bits are actually pink, and the fur is a pink kinda grey. And the cleverputty earbuds are a pinky kinda purple.) So is it all right aside from the hair that I have to fix? :D

I'm trying to post a little bit more regularly, beginning of the year is challenging in a different way to end of the year though ;D
I don't know why, but this really gives a disco disco kind of vibe. I like the background you coupled with piece. I feel like it gives it a sort of ethereal feel to it.
XD I was originaly intending on drawing her actually doing the DJ thing but that ended up being a lot of boxes and also I wanted to do a full body shot (which wasn't working with all the boxes) so this happened. Thanks, I use that texture brush for a lot of abstract backgrounds, it's great :D
Did you use Krita for that?
All my 2d stuff is done in Krita :)
And probably the maps for my 3d eyes as well as I haven't figured out how to do eyes in 3dC yet XD
I still haven't quite gotten the hang of it haha! I've been practicing with it with little progress.
