The First Carousel Ride
Hello hive friends, I wish all of us well.
My post for today happened two years ago. This was weeks before the lockowns happened. Our town celebrated its anniversary we call it Araw ng Manolo Fortich here. A celebration of the recognition that Manolo Fortich is officially a municipality. To celebrate, LGU held programs that would last a week.
During this time, my sister from Valencia Bukidnon went home for a vacation. Well, it's really all vacation, but rather they help my mother on her farm during harvest and weeding. And they brought all three of her kids too.
One evening after dinner they called us and said that they will be going to Manolo which is 10 kilometers away from home. Without hesitation, my husband said we will go with them and have fun. There's a feria or a carnival in town and my sister's kids want to go there but I bet even my sister wants to go there too and she just can't admit it.
Surely it was fun just to even see the lights and all of its beauty and my kids are so happy and excited with everything they saw. Snack foods are everywhere (good thing that we already had dinner hehe) and the kids are asking for popcorns and mango shakes and cotton candies. Aelie, my firstborn is the most excited among the kids.
There are lot of betting games, mostly I do not know the names of but the kids are eyeing the rides which I do not like to look a because its all spinning and makes me dizzy. It's a good thing that Aelie is big enough to ride a carousel and she ahd a great time in her first ride which made me very happy. Since I had her, her happines has been my priority and not mine. Chielly, my secondborn is asleep this time and she was not able to join the ride.
The second ride that she eyed is this electric-driven cars. Her cousins were the first to ride and she was just silently watching them. I know my child well and I usderstood that she wanted to ride one and so Iasked her father to accompany her because I am carrying her sister. She had a wide smile after the ride and I know she is very happy and so is her father.
It was so funny that my secondborn woke up after the ride. she missed the fun but she is still too young to think of it. I gave her snack and she was contented in it. Infact she was having fun watching the lights.
The rides were over when we all ran out of money. So we all took a gruofie. We all had fun and these photo is te proof af all the happiness we had that day.
Its so good to enjoy even once in a while with the family and spending time with them is the most imprtant thing of all.
I hope you had great time with your family too. Until next time, thank you for stopping by.
Mao gyud ng Feria makalingaw ug buslot ato bulsa hahaha, nice na enjoy ninyo ang rides.
That is good to know your theme parks are opening and your kids are having fun.
Good writing here sharing your experience.
This looks like a good memory, I too was just looking at some pre-lockdown family photos of my own the other day. I can't wait until better days return, especially economic conditions.
