Happy new year! あけおめ！

It's my first time celebrating the holidays here at Hive and I must say, the people here from all over the world are so warmhearted and festive! I enjoyed hanging around a lot!
It's so nice to be part of an amazing community!

It's the new year so I kinda looked back a little and found that I am starting to go out and enjoy spending time with friends. In 2022, there were ups and downs in my life but I still chose to stay positive and well, as @wesphilbin would always say, #TomorrowIsTheGoal.

Overall, I'm so blessed with work, friends that I can hang out with here in Japan and on discord, a family that supports me, health (because nothing worse than flu), love life (CHAROT!!!), and being here on Hive.

Goals for 2023

I want to share my goals for this new year here to remind me to do them. I would probably be the only one who will read this post again in the future, probably less than 365 days from now, to check where I'm at.

Health and Body

I'm starting to get conscious of how I look on the outside and how my body reacts to certain things. I'm not at my best weight right now and I want to do something about it. I'm not getting any younger so before 2022 ended, I started to be active again. Walking at least 30 minutes a day is my target but I'll try to exceed expectations. I'll be careful about what I eat too. My nutritionist advised me to eat more veggies, actually a balanced diet, so I'll continue to do my best about it.

Maybe a sport will help? Let's see if I'll enjoy having one. Get back to dancing? Probably, yes, but only at home with my Just Dance game. 😅

Certifications

I want to pass a language certification. I already have one actually but I want to get the higher level. The exam will be in July and to be honest, I haven't started studying yet. Hopefully, I could allot at least an hour a day to study.

I also want to learn how to drive. This has been my dream ever since I was a teenager: to drive my own car in my late 20s. That time had already passed but it was not yet too late to learn to drive. I also want to travel around Japan in a car so the license will come in handy.

Travel

It seems like the world has begun moving again, so maybe it's time for me to have an international trip. When? Not yet sure but I'm thinking on my birthday or during long weekends here. Of course, I will continue to travel around Japan too - this is always a given. The reason why I'm here in Japan is to work and travel. 😂

You'll eventually find out where I'm going or I went because I'll be posting in pinmapple. 😅

Hive Things

When I got introduced to Hive and met people here, it never once occurred to me to be inactive or leave Hive. It has become a part of me so expect that I would be growing more here. I couldn't think of a number to be my target HP at the end of the year but for sure, I won't get stuck at 2k HP.

As a developer, I also want to learn more about Hive. I know some of you already know about Kem Bot, so expect that this year there would be more features added, for everyone's use and/or for HivePH's use. Tbh, I kept saying this but I haven't even started yet. 😂 I'll make sure to allocate time to do this soon.

Hive PH? Well, @adamada here's my reply to your post, it's a NO and will always be a NO. You're still the best Hive PH lead for me (I haven't known any other leads than you 😅). I'll continue to help your administration and the community of course. It would be nice to see the Filipino community grow more, a stronger bond than it was before, and a family that you could turn to when things get rough (or not!).

As for other projects here on Hive, I want to try learning more about them. I haven't really explored much on this area, other than playing dCrops, becoming a SIMMilionaire on dCity, hanging out and increasing my PIZZA tokens, and collecting more HE tokens. I'll probably start learning how to play dCity or others. Let's see.

I mentioned that I would be growing here on Hive so I'm powering up today, only the minimum because I'm using my Hive for other things.

I'm also helping @cloflo, a not-so-newbie in Hive (I guess she left and came back), a streamer, a gamer, and a wonderful friend. I also like how she writes her blogs! And she's pretty too! 😂 I hope with my little help, she'll be able to make her account grow more.

My 2022 was all about grinding - IRL and online.

I'm really thankful that I got here on Hive and met a lot of incredible people. I wish I could bring a lot of people here too, that they will also feel the same comfortable feeling I have for Hive, hoping they'll stay too!

So far, I enjoyed the first day of 2023 - even when I'm writing this with windows open and it's freaking cold outside. Our neighborhood felt like a ghost town at night because so many stores and restaurants were closing early because it's the new year. 😅

Anyways, I won't make this any longer because a hot bath is waiting for me. 😏
