Generalmente cuando somos niños, buscamos la manera mas fácil de divertirnos, inventamos la ocasión para jugar, por ejemplo en mi caso personal mis abuelos maternos tenia un patio inmenso, lleno de arboles frutales y muchos animales, que en las vacaciones era el lugar ideal para echar broma junto a mis primos; además en casa junto a mis hermanos jugábamos, tiempo escondido, paralizado, la semana, pelotica de goma, bingo y la lotería; siendo esta última la favorita durante toda mi vida, pues a medida que iba creciendo, ya no podía jugar los juegos a los que jugaba de niña; mi madre tenia una lotería de mas de 50 tablitas o cartones, y con casi 100 fichas, era divertido jugar y ganar, este juego lo practicábamos casi siempre en la casa de mi madre, allí nos reuníamos todos, mis hermanos y sus parejas con sus hijos, mis hijos, mis primos y sus familia, una que otra amistad para jugar y distraernos. El juego consiste de una tabla de aproximadamente 15*15 cm y una fichas redondas con imágenes en ellas, que se deben ir apuntando, a medida que una persona las va sacando (una por una) de una bolsa y la canta (decir su nombre) y los demás, van marcando en el cartón o tablita, hasta completar, el cuadrito, una línea horizontal o vertical, las cuatro esquinas, o diagonal. Dios santo, esto es la locura, hace días estaba hablando con mis hijos sobre esto, precisamente preparaba yo plátano sancochado, con mantequilla y queso rayado, y me decía mi hija mami como puedes comer eso?. Bueno resulta que de niña fui muy mimada por mis tíos, literalmente me secuestraban de casa y me llevaban a sus casas, recuerdo que siempre les decía que me hicieran plátano sancochado con queso, y pan tostado con mantequilla y chocolate, y las hallacas que hacia mi mamá, eran las comidas que me encantaba de niña que aun las disfruto, como venezolana, he aprendido a degustar toda nuestra gastronomía, por ejemplo las hallacas de mi mamá eran muy sabrosas - aplica el dicho "La mejor hallaca la hace mi mamá"- jajajajajaja, así como estas ricuras existe un sin fin de platos, únicos, nutritivos y sabrosos, pero si del tiempo de la niñez se trata, me quedo con el rico plátano sancochado con mantequilla y queso rayado y el pan tostado con mantequilla y chocolate; actualmente disfruto mucho prepararlos para mis hijos, no existen temporada cuando de hallacas se trata, las hago en cualquier mes del año, sólo falta que tengamos el dinero y las ganas para hacerlas, en fin son sabores que se graban en nuestra mente y corazón, que nos alegran el paladar y nos transportan a esas vivencias de la niñez.
