I know you are an introverted person, but ironically you are incredibly adorable and emanate a wonderful positive energy! Introverted people are the best friends, because they are careful and delicate, they look at details that nobody else is able to see.

A spider battled her anxieties... and won! About the drawing: So a spider draw that in under 2 hours with mixed feelings of anxiety and next to a badass artist who was also drawing badassery... and without sketching previously a gesture or something and lacking a reference for that garments, just brute creativity, technique and experience... All that while having a nice and flowy chat and sipping coffee... A spider is admirable, so is her (he)art.

Fun fact: I don't know many neurotypical or extraverted artists XD (perhaps kommie? But I don't know him XD)
And online/text is generally easier communication for introverts as for stuff like this you can take your sweet time with a response, sometimes leaving it sitting for ages and forgetting to press enter or the post button, to really contemplate if you've said what you wanted to say in the best way possible. Well that's part of how it works for me anyway, the other part is I'm forgetful/easily distracted ^_^;
Also totally understand the struggle to meet up in meatspace XD I'm actually glad I got the mohawk as meeting up with new people is hard enough, but it's easier when they're looking for me (so I don't have to approach them) and then if they are shy as well it's easier for them as not many people have coloured mohawks so then they don't feel so bad as their chances that it's the wrong person are drastically reduced XD

I met him here in Minneapolis and I had a similar experience as you in connecting with him. Just on the other side of the leather and piercings is a person with a very kind heart who freely shares his knowledge and is a joy to talk to. 😁

Oh my Goodness, how I can feel you my dear ! I am also that kind of introvert that keeps some separation between internet and real,
I also keep boundaries between my life and the other people in real life,
I'm the one who do not go to a diner of work colleagues, even if I'm fine with them, I don't want to meet them outside the job and they usually don't know much about me...
people I meet when I'm forced to (LoL), they will learn nothing about me and this is so easy to do, because people do not really want to speak about someone else than themselves 😃 , so to avoid talking about me, I make them speak about them, I ask questions and show an interest that let them go without asking me any questions ...LoL
The internet is my best place to express because I tell only what I'm willing to tell, and I communicate only with people I choose to communicate with, only people I feel having good vibrations...And these are the best conditions for me to express the best of me, because in this case, I feel secure and can be as joyful and weird as I want ^_^
I had the chance though to have met in real my good friend @pipurilla and we have met since maybe 4 or 5 times, in Annecy and lastly in Luxembourg, and it was easy because he is such a sweetheart, and I would be thrilled to meet some of other steemians I have long and genuine relations with, like my 3 gals @melinda010100 , @dswigle and @lenasveganliving ...I would probably be intimidated to meet some other I do not know well, but I would do it though, because it is a wonderful experience, and this would be a free choice to meet us 😊
Please rest and make things only for you that make you feel wonderful... you do not want to burn out again...😉 😘

Years ago, I met some people on MySpace long before it was music and we had a meetup, only to find that one was a Professional Race Car Driver, A Successful Inventor and.. well you get my understanding. Nowadays, it has gotten a little creepier and I find myself drawing closer to those like yourself and a few others. Lena @lenasveganliving is another that has been with me and is such a wonderful woman I hope to meet someday. When I am in Annecy! LOL

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert. We're the people who sit and examine problems and find solutions to them while other people are barging about getting into trouble because they can't sit down! Going to house parties can be difficult, but those parties where dog's are present, I've found, are great, because dogs make much better company than most people. :)
Yay! I'm glad you overcame your shyness/ anxiety and had a real life meet up. Drawing together sounds amazing. If I ever come to Melbourne, we're having a meet up. Just putting it out there so you can start to mentally process it. Don't worry, it's not going to happen anytime soon so relax.
So good that you did it anyway and faced the anxiety. I can imagine it wasn’t easy for you. Also drawing in a public space would be a challenge. It’s amazing you can just draw that good without having to sketch something first.

I don't know who of Marian or I am the worst when it comes to shyness and I normally overcome it with a brash reflection of who I really am.
But it is so difficult to meet with a new person when one doesn't know what to talk about. Comforting people are few and far between, so it was great to read about your meeting with one of them.
Lars seemed to focus on your talent and not on small talk and you bloomed when I look at your drawing.
Life is not so bad after all is it?

Never mind. There are many introverts in our world. I don't really like new companies either. For example, yesterday we went on a two-day camping trip. There was a guitar and someone interviewed me to sing. I did, but I sang without looking up, because most of the people there were strangers to me.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being an introvert. We're the people who sit and examine problems and find solutions to them while other people are barging about getting into trouble because they can't sit down! Going to house parties can be difficult, but those parties where dog's are present, I've found, are great, because dogs make much better company than most people. :)

Yay! I'm glad you overcame your shyness/ anxiety and had a real life meet up. Drawing together sounds amazing. If I ever come to Melbourne, we're having a meet up. Just putting it out there so you can start to mentally process it. Don't worry, it's not going to happen anytime soon so relax.

So good that you did it anyway and faced the anxiety. I can imagine it wasn’t easy for you. Also drawing in a public space would be a challenge. It’s amazing you can just draw that good without having to sketch something first.
We were sitting at a corner, so that was really helpful, cuz no one could bother us :D :D :D
And hahaha, drawing was actually helpful to ease the awkwardness :)

We are busy unpacking and doing other work in the new cottage so I apologize for the late reply.
I don't know who of Marian or I am the worst when it comes to shyness and I normally overcome it with a brash reflection of who I really am.
But it is so difficult to meet with a new person when one doesn't know what to talk about. Comforting people are few and far between, so it was great to read about your meeting with one of them.
Lars seemed to focus on your talent and not on small talk and you bloomed when I look at your drawing.
Life is not so bad after all is it?

Never mind. There are many introverts in our world. I don't really like new companies either. For example, yesterday we went on a two-day camping trip. There was a guitar and someone interviewed me to sing. I did, but I sang without looking up, because most of the people there were strangers to me.
Yeah, it is a challenge for some of us! We all have different comfort zones :)

@kommienzuspadt, @veryspider - i follow you both and find it really amazing that the both of you connected in real life. Me and @vincentnijman have been sketching out a new platform and realized how important it is for people on steemit to connect. The consensus mechanism allows for likeminded people to literally come up with crazy solutions.
