Yes, MUSIC!

I reached out in some discord servers this morning and got some pretty quick yeses for performers! I am putting this post out to secure some musicians for 📣The Block Party II?😎 and over the next week, we will see who all wants to do a set and that will decide what kind and size of the venue we lock down. We are in talks with the @nfttunz peoples and this may turn into a full on 2 day concert with speakers and all that fun shit! So who do we have so far?

His smooth blues and jazzy guitar are a treasure to listen to and we are looking very forward to hosting his first ever trip to and performance in the United States! I have known this lady for well over 15 years and met her back when I went by 'KIDD'. They called me that because I would bring my kids to the dojo and they learned right along with me doing all the kicky and punchy things. I have reached out to hire her to open at least one night for this, and I hope you enjoy the humor as much as I do. I love it when people find something they love and make a living doing it. She is one of those people and I hope you all get to see her!

I just met these two when I dropped a line in the @one.tribe.radio chat channel in their discord server. The initiative is run by @tygertyger and @d-vine and they have a show the first Saturday of every month in PAL on MSP Waves. So, it was cool to bump into this guy and hear about TAH Records. They just released a compilation of blockchain artists including a track from @psionic-tremors. I look forward to having these guys on the docket and seeing them live!

I have been following these guys for quite awhile and apparently, they are pretty tight with @double-eagle, so maybe we'll have some kind of special live compilation happen with them, who knows? I do know they have a good sense of humor and are an easy-going trio that will put on a good show for everyone. It'll be neat to put names to faces and enjoy some good jams with these guys!

I just met this cat a few months ago through the @psyberx server when I asked for a beat to do something for the game. As it turns out, it's only a hop and skip for him to come down and do something for us too! Maybe he can be the house DJ and we can all have a dance party and socialize to his killer skills or maybe he can put us all in a trance and we get lit beyond the candles. Should be quite interesting though and am looking forward to it!

Call to All Artists!

You may not like me for this, but I am going to tag a bunch of people here in the hopes that they see this and decide they want to come and play at The Block Party in September. The first show will be the 9th and if we have enough performers, maybe we'll do Saturday night following it as well and turn it into a full blown concert escape for everyone. I mean, what's a Block Party without the music, right? I know some of the people may not be able to make it, but I'm going to tag hopefuls I'm aware of. So, these are people off of the top of my head that I know of I would want to see live and hope can come:

I know there's more, these are just all I can think of at the moment.

So, come one, come all! On top of splitting the HBD generated from all 📣The Block Party II?😎 posts with anyone that comes, we aim to sell public tickets to this concert and give each performer a cut of that as well as a thank you for sharing your talents with us. During the next week, we will see how many are committed to coming and that will dictate just how big of a venue we need to lockdown. Maybe we'll make it an elite event and only have so many tickets available? Maybe some magical thing will happen and we'll have to secure a spot that seats thousands.
