An Avocado Kind Of Day... <3

Papa bought some avocado yesterday, so I decided to make one of the famous avocado desserts in the Philippines. It's pretty easy and very delicious. It's avocado with condensed milk. It's a healthier way to treat your sweet tooth.

We got three ripe avocados and they're quite big in size. It's time to scoop them out to make our simple dessert.

I don't really like cooking, but I'm good friends with the knife. So, if you even need help with slicing or preparation for your cooking, you can call me. haha Just give me free food afterwards. ;)

I'm always amazed by how big avocado seeds are. I did some "Googling" as to why they have such huge seeds and there are a couple of interesting reasons. One is because it was meant to be eaten by some giant animals which are already extinct these days. The other reason is that the avocado seed contains all the nutrients that a small avocado tree needs in order to grow.

As I was scooping the avocados, I discovered that there were some parts that were still a bit under ripe. It was just a small portion, so I just decided to scoop everything anyway.

Here are the skin and the seeds...

After scooping, I mashed them. How small you want to mash them depends on you. In my case, I still want to chew some bits and pieces of it, so I didn't mash it that much.

Then, I got this condensed milk from our store. If you're vegan, you can substitute it with some vegan condensed milk, too. :)

I only poured about half of what's inside the can. I didn't want it to be too sweet. However, there are some people in the Philippines who prefer it to be sweeter. Some even add some sugar aside from the milk, but I think that's too much. haha

It looks like this after mixing... and since I live in such a hot and humid country, I have to place this in the fridge for a bit.

It was before lunch time when I made this and we wanted to have it for dessert, so I decided to place it in the freezer for a few minutes, instead. After lunch, it'll be ready!
