Yep for sure - I think it's going to come around really quickly! We will be travelling by Eurostar - I love trains and it also means I don't have the issue of trying not to check-in my modular case which is a bit over check-in dimensions. I think the whole thing is going to be a great adventure!
How about you?
I'm looking at Eurostar too and may bring a guitar. It's going to be fun.

I'm wondering how far ahead to book the train. I can get a return for £138, but will that change before September. No refund if you cancel, but I hope HF goes ahead and COVID does not interfere.
I decided to book it anyway. I'm on the 9:01am from St Pancras on the 15th. It changes at Brussels, but means I don't have to get into London quite so early. Come back at 10:15 on the Monday.
Ah nice! We are on the 08:16 on 15th September. And coming back on the 16:47 on the Sunday (so I will miss the final dinner I believe but we need to be back for school/work on the Monday).
I've missed the final evening when I went before, so I'm going for the full experience this time. Apparently for the train you need to be there a while before to get checked in. I've not been on those before.
ah yep makese sense - yeah there will be a checkin period - but not as long as for flying!
