What to Expect from the Daily Pack Articles

Each of these Daily Pack Openings is about 450 words in the template for explaining what Astral Entities is and where to find more information on it. I will discuss every single card I pulled in today's pack in detail making my best, uninformed guesses at how the card will be in the Astral Entities Universe. What is Astral Entities?

Astral Entities is a universe of games in development by Hella Rad Games @cryptoreaper and @tanzofett that will use the same NFT's available now at https://www.astralentities.com for all their games in the Astral Entities Universe. The purpose of Astral Entities is to release a number of games with a cohesive lore all utilizing the same NFT's. Developers will also have the option of creating in network official titles and unofficial titles using the NFT's.

There are three games currently in development:

Taergyn

Taergyn is like playing Go with D&D inspired Fantasy characters with an array of stats, classes, and an epic depth of lore. This is the flagship game of the series and is expected to launch Q1 2022.

Discordant Adventures

Developed by @kiokizz, is a text based adventure on Discord. Alpha testing for the program is live now on the discord server, but there is no cryptocurrency attached yet. This will be the first game released with a goal of Q1 2022.

The Hunter's Guild

The Hunter's Guild will be a Gamified staking game with an emphasis on the Gamified. On timed adventures, you will be forced to make a number of hard decisions that could take twists and turns in this choose your own adventure.

Many, Many more games planned for release down the line with options being developed for developers to create their own unofficial or official games.

What I pulled Today

This was an amazing pack, and I promise I only cracked on pack today! A T5 two days in a row is insane, as there is only a 2% chance of pulling one. I really like this one too, but I'm definitely biased toward the Daemon artwork. As if the T5 wasn't enough, I also pulled a T4. This was an amazing pack-- this is the sort of pack that people hope for when they buy a single one to play the lottery with. If you follow this post daily, you know this is not a pack that is representative of others. This pack represents some insanely good RNG.

Shadowborne Conscript

Shadowborne Concscript is a T1 Defender with the traits Stealthy and Stalwart, and looking at this Race/Class line always had me pretty curious how they would play, and I feel like something clicked a bit today. He doesn't have very high Physical stats, which certainly makes sense with Shadowborne, but is sensory and mental stats seem to be a bit higher. I suspect Perseverance is the Mental equivalent to Endurance, but that's just wild speculation. His highest stats are Perseverance Ego and Sprint.

Orc Priest

This card's flavor is probably one of my favorites. The healer who both harms and protects similar to Mordin from Mass Effect. He has the Furious and Calming traits. He has 13 Might Agility and Awareness. It's impossible to know exactly how this card will play until some of the games are released, but it seems like he'll be a speedy healer that can deliver a punch if he needs to, but he still seems a bit frail and in need of defending.

Fearmonger

Oh my goodness, I couldn't believe this card when I first pulled him. The Wicked, Stalwart, Resolute, and Fearsome Defender is an absolute beast of a T5 card. 18 Vitality and Endurance, so this card can really take some hits, and with 15 Might, he can deliver a few as well. Though with 7 Dexterity he may not always land the blow. He also has decent Intelligence, Speed, and Awareness too. AND THAT SCYTHE! This card just looks insane. I love it so much. 18 Vitality and Endurance. JEEZ.

Shadowborne Sage

The Stealth and Studious Shadowborne Sage is a T1 Mage with 14 Perseverance, 13 Ego, and 12 Intelligence, Wit, Speed, Initiative, and Sprint skewing her towards the Mental and Sensory Stat Trees. I can see her as a bit of a generalist mage with pretty low stats in Physical, but no massive high stats in Mental or Sensory either.

Human Thug

The Human Thug is a T1 Thief with the traits Versatile and Quick-Fingered. He has 13 Sprint, and 12 or less for all other stats. This is a card I wouldn't consider to be specialized, but instead more generalized. Till we see the game in action, we can't be sure which would be better. Then there will also be games that do not use every stat if any of the games use every stat. Each game could treat each NFT completely diffrently.

Elf Thug

The Elf Thug, on the other hand, is a much more specialized Min/Maxed character. The Fleet and Quick-Fingered T1 Thief has 14 Agility and Awareness and 13 Initiation. This is a card that will do well in games that utilize Agility and Awareness heavily, and he'll do horribly in games that do not utilize them at all or weigh them very lightly. This is all wild specualtion of course, but I can't wait to find out!

Slink

With 16 Agility, 14 Dexterity, and 14 Initiative, I would consider the T4 Shadowborne Thief to be quite well Min/Maxed for more specialized use. With the Traits, Stealthy, Quick-Fingered, and Self-Preservation, he looks the part of a master thief in every way. I'm very hopeful about the playability of the Shadowborne Thief cards.

Daemon Brute

The Wicked and Tough Daemon Brute has my favorite artwork, and a very impressive 14 Might, which is pretty elevated for a T2 card. This card seems pretty specialized in the Physical stats with 14 Might, 13 Vitality and Endurance, and 12 Agility. His weakest Physical stat is Dexterity at 11, and his mental and sensory stats cap out at 12 with only a few reaching hat high. This character is very specialized for dealing and taking Physical Damage.

Daemon Conscript

The T1 Daemon Defender, Conscript, is Wicked and Stalwart with an interesting spread of stat. 14 Endurance for a T1 is very pleasantly surprising, but the reast of his stats seem fairly low as a result, but he does he has decent 13 stats hanging around too.
