ASAHI AMERICAN RESERVE EAGLE

Even though the company is new, Asahi Refining has a long history in the precious metals industry dating back to the 1800s. Asahi Refining's parent company, Asahi Holdings, is situated in Japan and was established in 1952.

In 1952, Asahi Refining and Assayers was established in Tokyo. The company established a reputation for itself over the course of more than 60 years primarily as a precious metals recycler, obtaining silver and other metals from manufacturing and industrial operations.

The Asahi Holdings agreed to acquire Johnson Matthey's gold and silver refining holdings in 2014, and the transaction was completed in 2015. It included Johnson Matthey's refining activities at Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, and Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The agreement also included the Johnson Matthey facility located in St. Catherine's, Canada.

Asahi won an auction for the assets of bankrupt Miami-based refiner Republic Metals Corporation (RMC) in February 2019. Asahi acquired RMC and establish an even stronger presence in the precious metals segment in the North America. Prior to filing for bankruptcy, RMC was one of North America’s largest precious metals refineries.

Asahi has produced several 1 Oz rounds, such as American Reserve, Buffalo, and Patriot rounds. Every silver item is crafted with .999Fine Silver.

ASAHI AMERICAN RESERVE EAGLE 1 OZ

An interwoven logo with the letters "AR" is featured on the obverse. This logo indicates that only American-mined silver is used in all of the products that bear it.

The recognizable crossed pick axes and backdrop texture resemble rocks, paying homage to the American mining heritage of the past. The outer circle of the round has the words "AMERICAN RESERVE" at the top and "999 * FINE SILVER * 1 OZ." at the bottom.

The magnificent Bald Eagle is the focal point of the reverse. The famous bird, which stands for courage, strength, and independence, is a symbol of the United States.

Perched on a limb, the eagle is staring carefully to the right. "MINED & MADE IN AMERICA" appears over the eagle. The Asahi mint mark can be found on the branch to the right.

I am very happy to land this piece of silver. For one thing, it has the American bald eagle. And it assures me that the silver was mined and produced in America.

The latest American Reserve silver bullion is fundamentally American. Asahi Refining USA refines the silver at its Utah facility using only American sources for mining. The beautiful one-ounce silver rounds are created by minting the fine-grain silver at a facility located in Miami, Florida. Source

They bought the facilities, but I do believe they are using their own standards, which is up to par or better that Johnson Matthey!

A nicely detailed eagle and an awesome mirror finish. I like the obverse as well; especially the background of the round. A nice addition to your stack, sis! Thanks for sharing and enjoy the evening!🤗😘💕🌸🍁😍 !LADY !LUV !PIMP

That's pretty cool I seen that type of thing here with gold with an emphasis on it being Canadian and from a single mine

I really need to pick up a tube of these. I picked up a couple in air tites, and the design is fantastic. I missed the opportunity at the time, and I'm afraid to check prices now as I'm sure they've appreciated since then.

Always detailed with history attached, nice to know people were honoring those who worked the mines of old.

Companies my come and go, the coin become a treasure to hold, etched designs always fascinating.

Ahasi makes such cool stuff! That's some cool stuff you have. I didn't realize how big they have become in the North American market, I've seen a lot more of their rounds and bars lately though. Interesting!

Asahi is big!!! They produce quality products! And inexpensive stuff! None can compare! But then once the rounds and bars hit the secondary market, because their quality is great, there is a notable increase of premiums!
