Well, this is my first time posting to the community and also this being the post for the contest “Tell me a Story - Week 1”, I look forward to it and I hope you like my story, which I actually think is more of a story, but even so, it's something I'd like to share .

Surely you've heard or read somewhere about the phrase "be your best version" and that's the subject of my text today. The main character, well, that's me! Calm down, no finding me or anything like that, but my life has some good stories and many of them now impactful here at #hive.

How to be your best version? This process of evolution comes with time and I learned it very well. I can say that I am not very proud of my past, where I fell out with people over silly things, often childish things and in which I always wanted to be right and come out on top.

Then, losing the friendship of many important people, I realized that I was on the path that was not the right one and that would certainly lead me to loneliness. Of course, with time and experience over the years, I learned a lot about living in communion with people, learning to respect them, especially their opinions.

So I looked for some people who had fought in the past and had been a complete asshole, on a path of redemption that we see a lot in stories, I apologized and explained my reasons and my mistakes, hoping that people would forgive me for those bad times that provided. Some forgave and some didn't, but that's for another story.

With my entry into the hive, new challenges arrived and living in a community has never been so explicit for me. Here, obviously, I've gone through ups and downs, but the coolest thing was the friendships I made and I'm valuing them a lot, now that I've learned that the most important thing is to know how to listen instead of just saying what I think.

There was a time when a friend needed stitches here from #Ecency, for a post and I lent it, kind of scared and wondering, will I get it back? My fear was funny, but in the end, I helped and even got the stitches back. At other times, I help with my experience gained here or sometimes passing, delegating or exchanging a Splinterlands card, or a token, for example.

Well, in that story, I realize today how my older version was outdated and full of “bugs”, in need of a real rewrite of the source code, which in human beings I believe is the mind and heart . With that, the moment of living in a community, helping, listening and offering my opinion, shows that I arrived at a very stable point in my life, my best version ready to be placed in the production environment.

I hope to update myself more and more, teaching and learning in the process and today is not yet the peak, the apex, tomorrow will certainly be better, because I will learn something new and have valuable members of the community to help and interact with. The updates in my being, I hope, never stop, always adding something new and good for everyone.

Bem, essa é a minha primeira vez postando na comunidade e também sendo essa a postagem para o concurso “Tell me a Story - Week 1”, estou ansioso e espero que vocês gostem da minha história, que, na verdade, acho que está mais para um relato, mas mesmo assim, é algo que gostaria de compartilhar.

Com certeza você já escutou ou leu em algum lugar sobre a frase “seja a sua melhor versão” e isso é o tema do meu texto de hoje. O personagem principal, bem, no caso sou eu mesmo! Calma, nada de me achar ou algo do tipo, mas é que minha vida tem algumas boas histórias e muitas delas agora impactantes aqui na #hive.

Como ser a sua melhor versão? Este processo de evolução vem com o tempo e eu aprendi muito bem isso. Posso dizer que não me orgulho muito do meu passado, onde me desentendia com as pessoas por conta de coisas bobas, coisas muitas vezes infantis e no qual eu queria sempre estar certo e sair por cima.

Então, perdendo a amizade de muitas pessoas importantes, percebi estar no caminho que não era o certo e que com certeza me levaria para a solidão. Claro que com o tempo e a experiência dos anos, aprendi muito sobre viver em comunhão com as pessoas, aprendendo a respeitá-las, principalmente as suas opiniões.

Assim, procurei por algumas pessoas que havia brigado no passado e havia sido um completo babaca, em um caminho de redenção que vemos muito nas histórias, pedi desculpas e expliquei meus motivos e meus erros, esperando que as pessoas me desculpassem por aqueles momentos ruins que proporcionei. Algumas perdoaram e outras não, mas isso fica para outra história.

Com a minha entrada na hive, novos desafios chegaram e viver em comunidade nunca ficou tão explicito para mim. Aqui obviamente já passei por altos e baixos, mas o mais legal foi as amizades que fiz e estou dando muito valor a elas, agora que aprendi que o mais importante é saber escutar no lugar de apenas falar o que penso.

Houve uma vez que um amigo precisou de pontos aqui do #Ecency, para uma postagem e emprestei, meio que com medo e fiquei pensativo, será que receberei de volta? Foi engraçado o meu medo, mas por fim, ajudei e ainda recebi os pontos de volta. Em outros momentos, ajudo com a minha experiência aqui adquirida ou às vezes passando, delegando ou trocando alguma carta de Splinterlands, ou um token, por exemplo.

Bem, nessa história, percebo hoje, como a minha versão mais antiga estava defasada e cheia de “bugs”, precisando de uma verdadeira reescrita no código-fonte, que nos seres humanos acredito ser a mente e o coração. Com isso, o momento de viver em comunidade, ajudando, escutando e oferecendo a minha opinião, mostra que cheguei em um ponto bem estável da minha vida, a minha melhor versão pronta para ser colocada no ambiente de produção.

Espero me atualizar cada vez mais, ensinando e aprendendo no processo e hoje ainda não é o auge, o ápice, amanhã com certeza será melhor, pois aprenderei algo novo e terei membros valiosos da comunidade para ajudar e interagir. As atualizações no meu ser, espero eu, que nunca parem, sempre somando algo novo e bom para todos.
