La Navidad comienza a sentirse en la Isla con "Mango Bajito" | The Christmas spirit is starting to take hold on the island with "Mango Bajito" 🎄🎅

Hello, lovely people of Hive, how's everything going? It’s been crazy around here this week, which is why you haven’t seen me as active as usual—I’ve been dealing with a real estate transaction for some clients, and the sheer number of things that needed to be done has been pretty overwhelming. And to top it all off, today I had to deliver a surprise breakfast! Because, yeah, here in Venezuela, one job just isn’t enough 🫠

The thing is, today, after delivering the breakfast—which was headed to Porlamar—we took the opportunity to stop by Mango Bajito, and as soon as I walked in, my Christmas spirit—which had been a little dormant—woke up completely. And how could it not? As soon as you walk through the door, not only do you hear Christmas music, but you’re greeted by a bunch of Christmas trees, and of course, the Christmas section is all set up for us to do our shopping. And even though every year I say I won’t buy anything, I always end up picking up one little thing or another 🤣

For example, on this visit, I’d decided to buy a few things for the house, like a new grater and some kitchen containers, but when I got to the Christmas section, I put everything I’d picked out back and instead picked up some little ceramic houses with lights inside and a spectacular golden reindeer, and the thing is, as you know, two years ago I made my own little houses out of cardboard, since I hadn’t seen any ceramic ones on the island, and of course, when I finally found them, there was no way I was going to leave them there!

As you can see, there wasn’t much variety on the shelves—in fact, there were only a few little houses left—so I didn’t hesitate for a second to pick them up, since they probably won’t be there the next time I go. So I grabbed a big house, a small one, and the golden reindeer, and even though I still don’t know what direction my Christmas decor will take this year, these little gems will look really cute wherever I put them.

And I’ll tell you, I spent about an hour browsing from one end to the other, thinking about what I might bring home the next time I go—because there were seriously some stunning items!! Mango Bajito has definitely become the queen of Christmas in Margarita.
