My time at the cafe
Hello hivers, hope y'all are having a fun weekend. Mine is going well though.
I'll be sharing a quick piece I made today with y'all, I drew a stranger at the cafe. I had a meeting with a potential client at a cafe so I turned up an hour earlier than my potential client. So while waiting, I got bored but thankfully for me, I went out with my sketchbook and a pencil and pen.. this is something I don't do so often but then, since I had some time to spare, I decided to pick any stranger at the cafe as a reference and just test my drawing skills in real time

Well, I didn't take a picture of my reference but I'll be honest with you, this didn't look like him.. shush, don't tell anyone..
Atleast I made the attempt and I learnt some lessons and I figured I have to work on sharpening my imagination better.
About my potential client?!.. I made sure my sketchbook was hidden immediately I noticed he'd arrived
Anyways, that's a peek into the start of my weekend, do have a pleasant weekend yourself.
Great job on taking the initiative to practice your drawing skills while waiting for your potential client. It takes courage to put your work out there and share it with others, so kudos to you for doing so! It's also great to hear that you learned some lessons and have identified areas for improvement. Keep practicing and sharpening your skills, and don't be afraid to experiment and try new things. Remember, every artist starts somewhere and it's through practice and persistence that growth and improvement occur. Keep up the good work and have a fantastic weekend!
