A fishy tale on a lovely hot day.

I want to show you the reason for us visiting this square water pond close to us so often. So, you will see an arty photo story and also a gangster story.
105.jpg

Greetings to all, and now what could the gangsters have to do with an innocent water feature?

We know that they have their fingers in everywhere and in here I will try to explain how they work. Now I don't know what Mona Lisa will have to say about the art on display here, but just a sniff of the word art will be sure to illicit much interest from the underworld.

I hope that the introduction has kindled your interest and let me show you what I have for you today.
Just be aware that everything is not what it seems to be, as there is a wee bit of jest included.

During my investigation, this damselfly below waved a feather at me and asked for a photo of his new boat. Unfortunately, his feather dropped into the water.

Now let me show you the art first.

I was amazed to see how my camera decided to take these photos.

Khoi fish eating the algae off the sides of a plastic flower box. What I found interesting was the colors, as it was in the shade of a tree.

This is nature's art, and I loved the colors. All of the photos are unedited. As I don't have photoshop or other such things.

And here we go with the gangster story.

The white Don was up front with his two bodyguards following him, and he was on an inspection tour of the sculptures in his garden.

134.JPG

Angelo, the Don said, remind me to go and break the fingers of Mr. Crab, as I told him to paint this sculpture a week ago.
135.JPG

The Don moved a bit further away to view the sculpture from another angle.
136.JPG

Come on guys, let's get out of here before a snooping journalist can get photos of us!
137.JPG

Just something funny to get you smiling, I hope. Nature has a way to lift one's spirits and this was an ideal summer's day as birdsong accompanied us, on our walks.

Now for a bit of sadness, as I know that things will not remain in its current status at this pond. We have seen what happens a few times now, and once some time ago, I got the cause on camera.
A giant Kingfisher pays a regular visit and before long there will be no more fish in here. Maybe I will get the kingfisher on camera again soon, and then I will show you the action.

Some of you might also know that this is also where I get the photos of the annual geese procreation.
044.JPG

There are still seven of the goslings left and they are growing fast. Four bigger ones and 3 smaller ones. Six females, and the one male is the biggest of the lot.

So, that's it for now and I hope that you enjoyed the story and the pictures.

Kingfisher has an advantage hovering over a pond like this, almost a local pantry!

Have a great day and thanks for the fun read!

Did I tell you, you won? Yes you did, You kept me smiling all through especially with the white Don part. It's is amazing how you could craft such a beautiful story. Seriously, I will be lying if I say I didn't enjoy reading through.

😆😆 I did enjoy the story. I didn't see it coming, even though you said there'd be one. LOL.

Nature's art is always the prettiest and you caught it well.
Kudos!

Whenever you go to such places, it is very nice to see the fishes so close and see many special things, but the water gets very dirty and it is not so easy to clean it.
