Always be thankful.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. I have seen people go from grass to grace, from grace to grass, and from grace to grace. The choices we make today determine if we will move forward or backward, which is why we must be extra careful about the choices that we make. For every path lies a destination on the other side; whichever path we decide to follow, just know there's a destination waiting for us.

We humans are ungrateful and take things for granted, the life we have and the air we breathe every day. We ought to say thank you to the source that creates life every now and then. There are people at the hospital who pay heavily for these things that we take for granted. Sometimes we feel it's our right, but no, we are just lucky to be among the living and, most of all, to live a healthy life. Sometimes life has to happen for someone or something to change.
I used to take life for granted until some years ago, when I was bitten by a snake and was admitted to the hospital for over two weeks. This incident almost cost me my life, but God came through. While at the hospital, I saw things that changed how I think and see things. Until you visit the emergency room of a hospital, you might still not value the life you have. Some people's problem is that they don't have shoes, but there are people who don't have feet.
Since I was below 18, I was first attended to in the emergency ward, then later moved to the children's ward. Until this admission and time spent at the hospital, I used to believe I was too young or too small to die, but I spent over a week at the hospital, and the number of children that died left me in awe and shock. Some were way younger than me, some were older, and some were in a condition where, if given an option, they'd choose to just die and rest.
Imagine living a life completely dependent on an oxygen tank. Someone has to carry it around for the little boy. Seeing this, I shed tears. This is one of the most horrific moments of my life. I left the hospital a week later, but it took me time to get over what I saw at the hospital. I learned a lesson, and it has been a part of me.
Life is a gift; always be thankful for the life you have, no matter the situation. As long as you are not in the hospital or in a critical condition, you ought to be thankful. There are many who want to be in the position where you are but cannot, so you have every reason to be thankful. You can eat with your own hands without being fed; be thankful.
Never be boastful or too proud; don't use the position you are in to oppress anyone because even you don't own your life. The life we are living is borrowed; the owner can come for it at anytime. Just stay thankful for it as long as you have it and live right.

A visit to the hospital is always the best way to learn to show gratitude for life. Good health is overrated. Living free and breathing seems so simple yet so expensive but you never know until you need to buy life or oxygen. Good a thing you learnt a lesson from this
POC: Humans aren't ungrateful. That was a bit of generalisation. There are some of us who are very grateful.
I am sorry I generalized the whole thing, my bad. I know there are grateful people out there even without been told.
That's okay darling. We get carried away sometimes when we write.
