Hello #Needleworkmonday. Happy Monday! I’m back here after being away for a few days. Yesterday I finished this cute pink-and-white bag. I was going through my bags and found this WIP, and I decided to work on it among several other unfinished projects since I still had some white nylon thread. I’ll go over some details about how I made it.
ESPAÑOLHola #Needleworkmonday. Feliz lunes, por aca de nuevo despues de varios dias ausente, ayer terminé este lindo bolso rosado-blanco. Estuve revisando mis bolsas y encontré este wip, y decidí entre varios proyectos inconclusos ya que aú tenia hilo de naylon blanco. Paso a dar ciertos detalles en su elaboración.
Step by step//Paso a paso
Materials//Materiales:
- White nylon yarn.
- Crochet hook No. 2.
- Hilo nailon blanco.
- Aguja crochet Nº 2.
Abbreviations//Abreviaciones:
ch: chain(s).
mp: half point.
mpa: half high point.
pad: double treble crochet.
pat: triple treble crochet.
aum: increases.
dism: decrease.
pa: high point.
pr: slipped stitch.
ch: cadena(s).
mp: medio punto.
mpa: medio punto alto.
aum: aumento.
dism: disminución.
pa: punto alto.
pad: punto alto doble.
pat: punto alto triple.
pr: punto deslizado.
Process//Proceso:
- I proceeded to make the flap, the strap, and the button to finally finish this bag.
- For the flap, using white yarn, insert the yarn and work several rounds (04), then one round with dc, 1 ch, dc together, and 3 dc in each space, repeating the sequence.
- On the next round, work 6 double crochet in each V-shaped space, repeating the sequence. (04).
- Finally, work one round in pink using single crochet, and make the buttonhole.
- I sewed on the nylon button using a magic ring: 5 single crochet, wrap with 10 single crochet, 10 single crochet on the inner strand, then pull tight to shape it into a button.
- This bag measures 18 x 18 x 4 cm
- Then I made a 75 cm white strap and sewed it onto the sides.
- Procedí a realizar la solapa, la tira y el botón, para por fin concluir este bolso.
- Para la solapa con hilo blanco, se inserta el hilo y con varias vueltas (04), luego una vuelta con pa, 1 ch, pa juntos y 3 pa en cada espacio, repiendo secuencia.
- En la siguiente vuelta hacemos 6 pa en cada espacio en V, repetir secuencia. (04).
- Por ultimo hacemos una vuelta en rosado con mp, y el ojal.
- Cosí el botón de nailon con un anillo mágico, 5 mp, se envuelve con 10 mp, 10 mp en la hebra interna, apretamos dandole forma de botón.
- Este bolso mide 18 x 18 x 4 cm
- Luego hice la tira en blanco de 75 cm y cosi en los laterales.

I’m happy to have finished this beautiful project. This bag is perfect for showing off because its color is so attractive and youthful—ideal for young girls or teens. It’s made of a durable material like nylon and is washable.
Last night, I was watching TV and crocheting a few stitches here and there until I finished it.
Another challenge overcome. Sometimes we start a project and suddenly abandon it for a smaller one, something more trendy, or because we don’t have time due to various household chores.
I’d also like to mention that crocheting has helped me relieve the stress of the critical moments caused by the earthquakes that have struck my country, Venezuela, in recent days.

Estoy feliz por haber terminado este hermoso proyecto, este bolso es ideal para lucir ya que por su color es muy atractivo y juvenil, para niñas o adolescentes. Es de un material resistente como el nailon y es lavable.
Anoche viendo tv y puntadas en la tira hasta que lo concluí.
Otro reto superado, a veces comenzamos un proyecto y de pronto lo abandonamos por otro mas pequeño o de moda o por falta de tiempo por hacer varias tareas en el hogar.
Tambien les comento que el tejido me ha servido para lograr calmar el estrés de los momentos criticos que ha agobiado los terremotos ocurridos en dias pasados en mi país Venezuela.
