La Navidades son una época mágica, llena de ilusión y una maravillosa oportunidad para compartir momentos inolvidables con tus seres queridos
Una época dónde me relajo y permito que los días transcurran sin prisas y con calma, creo que con el tiempo e aprendido disfrutar al máximo de cada momento para crear recuerdos que perdurarán toda la vida en mi mente y corazón.

Realmente soy de las personas que disfruta diciembre desde principio a fin con planes poco ambiciosos y más sencillos .

• Voy a centros comerciales a disfrutar del encendido navideño, a bazares, pongo la navidad en mi hogar es decir decoro mi árbol navideño y espacios de la casa con lucecitas y detalles navideños.

I really am one of the people who enjoys December from beginning to end with less ambitious and simpler plans.

• Disfruto mi plan de tardes de películas de navidad, tengo una gran lista de títulos imprescindibles para ver cada día, acompañado de una taza con chocolate o café calentito y galletas para pasar una tarde de maratón completa.
  Mi pobre angelito”Home Alone” continúa siendo una de mis películas favoritas durante la temporada navideña, no tengo idea cuántas veces la e visto protagonizada por Macaulay Culkin, Qué bello es vivir , Socorro! Ya es Navidad, entre otros títulos tengo una selección de bellas películas navideñas.
• Me gusta donar cosas antes cuando mis hijos estaban pequeños donaba juguetes y ropa de ellos, ahora regalo mi ropa y zapatos a personas más necesitadas, también tengo personas a mi alrededor que me donan cosas para que las done a otros.
• Mandar mensajes por las diferentes redes sociales a amigos y familiares que están lejos, dedico tiempo para escribir una dedicatoria con cariño, lo hago a diario.
• Disfruto de preparar mi comida navideña, en Venezuela nuestra gastronomía es variada, hallacas, pan de jamón, ensalada de gallina o pollo, horneados de pavo, pollo o cerdo, postres como dulce de lechoza o papaya, tortas , buñuelos , galletas , bebidas espirituosas como ponche crema preparado por nosotros mismos.

• I enjoy preparing my Christmas food, in Venezuela our gastronomy is varied, hallacas, ham bread, chicken or chicken salad, baked turkey, chicken or pork, desserts such as dulce de leche or papaya, cakes, fritters, cookies, drinks spirits like cream punch prepared by ourselves.

Antes cuando tenía a mis hijos pequeños lo que hacía era en función a ellos, me aceleraba buscando la ropa, los juguetes, la comida así que lo que hago hoy en día es pensando en mi propio deleite y con tranquilidad.
Para el 18 de diciembre tengo planeado preparar mis hallacas, es un platillo que lleva muchos ingredientes y muchos pasos en su elaboración pero que disfruto muchísimo, las hacemos en familia en medio de un ambiente musical con gaitas villancicos, entre bromas, risas, café , vino y otras bebidas, hago muchas hallacas que me alcancen para el resto del año y las que comparto con familia y vecinos.

• El 24 diciembre es decir noche buena dónde nos preparamos para esperar el nacimiento del niño Dios, ése día realmente es mágico y laaargo, hago muchas cosas planeadas y sin embargo me rinde el día.
  Desde muy temprano me pongo en acción, preparar el pan de jamón, ensalada, lo que voy a hornear depende del bolsillo aún no tengo claro si es pollo o cerdo, el postre una torta sencilla ésa si la hago el día anterior. Me reúno con mis hijos para la cena, antes nos tomamos un aperitivo, nos fotografiamos, conversamos y hasta bailamos mientras esperamos la hora de la cena. Luego de cenar nos vamos a casa de una vecina a compartir un rato con ella, hasta el nacimiento del niño Dios.

• El día 25 casi siempre comemos recalentado es decir de lo que sobró de la cena anterior o sino me voy al campo donde unos familiares y disfrutamos de un sancocho o sopa con sus respectiva bebidas, pero ésto depende del clima, a estado lloviendo mucho por aquí, así que el plan de ése día lo dejo abierto para cualquier cambio.

• Cómo les- On the 25th we almost always eat reheated, that is, what is left over from the previous dinner, or else I go to the countryside with some relatives and we enjoy a stew or soup with their respective drinks, but this depends on the weather, it has been raining a lot for here, so I left the plan for that day open for any changes.

La navidad para mí es el mes de diciembre completo, así que llega el 31 último día del mes y del año me preparo para despedír el viejo año y dar la bienvenida al 2024 .
Ese día si nos vamos para casa de mi suegra ahí nos reunimos todos y pasamos un bonito día cargado de afectos y diversión, nos ponemos de acuerdo para cooperar con la cena , cada familia le toca un platillo diferente para armar nuestra cena en común unión.
Ese día siempre digo que nos ponemos bonitos todos y no es por la vestimenta sino por la alegría que nos produce estar todos juntos de abrazarnos, bendecirnos, recordar y honrrar a los que ya no están .
