This is a contest from our community to you, women empowering each other both on the blockchain and in Discord! A place we love and where Hive is alive. If you haven't joined our discord yet, an invite can be found by clicking on the first banner under this post!

We will award 3 HIVE and 300 Ecency Points to the best entry. Two HIVE and 150 Ecency Points will be awarded to Second Place winners. Honorable Mentions will win one HIVE and 50 Ecency Points.

Regalaremos 3 HIVE y 300 Puntos Ecency a la mejor entrada. Se otorgarán dos HIVE y 150 Puntos Ecency a los ganadores del segundo lugar. Las menciones honoríficas ganarán una HIVE y 50 Puntos Ecency.


Starting this week, a total of 50 LEO will be awarded, too: 15 tokens for 1st prize, 7 tokens each for max of 3 second prizes, and 3 or 2 tokens for 3rd prize winners. We thank @anomandsoul for this!

We want everyone in the LadiesOfHive community to succeed! We have seen some members, however, failing to properly cite the sources for images used in posts. This can cause trouble for your accounts, our community, and the Hive blockchain as a whole. Please review the following information and ask if there are any questions!

You can use any image PROVIDED THAT it is not copyrighted, and is free-for-use in a post. Your entry will be disqualified if you use a copyrighted image or a watermarked image. Plenty of free-to-use images can be found on these sites:

If you took the photos, it's a good idea to say: "Photos by me" somewhere in your post!

Make sure you read over the rules again, and bear in mind the importance of sourcing your images or quotes, and may the greatest imagination win!

Seven suggestions (reminders) to consider:

Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner
The Master Password and the Owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
Do Not open any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

It's the wrong time for my smartphone's charger to go out and cellphone loses its battery strength rapidly! 📶 📱📳🔋📉
Problem started last week...

There must be an app running in the background that is consuming the battery. Some phone apps are sneaky, even when we don't run them they still consume battery without us knowing. Hope you will be able to find out what it is :)

Thanks for the pointer! I wish it was one of those easy to resolve battery draining culprits. It first started on my birthday. After sleeping in late I woke up to find my phone dead and wouldn't charge. It took a little while to troubleshoot before I figured out the charger cord shorted out while it was plugged into the power strip overnight. A combination of thunderstorms and power outages. I got another "charger" but now the cellphone battery doesn't hold for long. Using a portable charger power bank in the meantime...

Ouch! That may mean it needs a battery change. It's good you have a power bank which you can use for the mean time. Hope you can have it fixed soon :)
