Hola Chicos ¿Qué tal?

Como ya les he dicho antes, no todo puede ser mecánica o reparar cosas jeje, también me gusta complacer a mi familia preparando algunas comidas.

Mi esposa Eli ama comer, pero en especial ama la carne asada, por ello decidí comprar una pequeña parrillera para así asar las carnes y podríamos decir comer más sabroso y sano, ya que evitamos freír.

As I have told you before, not everything can be mechanics or repairing things hehe, I also like to please my family by preparing some meals.

My wife Eli loves to eat, but especially loves grilled meat, so I decided to buy a small grill to grill meats and we could say eat tastier and healthier, since we avoid frying.

Hoy quise hacer unos Choripanes o panes con chorizo, teníamos tiempo buscando alguno que tuviera el sabor de los que vendían en nuestro país y conseguí este de Marca Italianísima, que de verdad y comparados con otros, son muy buenos. Al salir de mi trabajo pasé por un frigorífico y el señor que atendía me los recomendó.

Este señor es ecuatoriano, pero vivió un tiempo en Venezuela, así que conoce no solo de los cortes de las carnes, también conoce de sabores. Me dijo que vivió más de 30 años allá y tuvo que regresar por la situación del país, ya que aquí en Ecuador está un poco mejor.

Today I wanted to make some Choripanes or breads with chorizo, we had been looking for some that tasted like the ones sold in our country and I got this one from Marca Italianisima, which really are very good compared to others. On my way out of work I passed by a fridge and the man who was attending recommended them to me.

This man is Ecuadorian, but he lived in Venezuela for a while, so he knows not only the cuts of meat, but also the flavours. He told me that he lived there for more than 30 years and had to return because of the situation in the country, since here in Ecuador it is a little better.

Lo otro de tener una parrillera y asar carnes, es que está en el patio y los niños lejos de su alcance, ellos nos ven cuando estamos en la cocina mi esposa y yo preparando la cena y a veces se desesperan. Al estar afuera ellos no pueden ver y por lo tanto pueden ser un poco más paciente. Y allí estaba yo, preparando una rica cena.

The other thing about having a grill and grilling meats is that it's in the yard and the kids are out of reach, they see us when my wife and I are in the kitchen preparing dinner and sometimes they get desperate. Being outside they can't see and therefore can be a bit more patient. And there I was, preparing a nice dinner.

Considero que esta comida es muy fácil y rápida de hacer. Asar unos chorizos, abrir unos panes, preparar una ensalada de vegetales crudos, yo usé repollo, zanahoria, y tómate, un toque de limón y sal, olvidé el cilantro, que le da ese color y toque especial, pero ni modo.

Al momento de servir, mi esposa me ayudó, no soy muy bueno en esto y me hizo recordar que habían unos aguacates maduros, así que decidí que debía llevar ésta cena también aguacate, yo dije para que así sea más saludable.

I think this meal is very easy and quick to make. Roast some chorizos, open some bread, prepare a salad of raw vegetables, I used cabbage, carrots, and tomato, a touch of lemon and salt, I forgot the coriander, which gives it that special colour and touch, but no way.

When it was time to serve, my wife helped me, I'm not very good at this and she reminded me that there were some ripe avocados, so I decided that I should bring avocado too, I said so it would be healthier.

Quizás usted esté pensando que el choripan no es saludable, pero el chorizo es asado jaja así qué solo necesitabamos pan integral. Pero de verdad que el aguacate agregó un sabor especial a esta deliciosa cena.

No hubo coca-cola, evitamos este tipo de bebidas, si las consumimos pero muy poco o en ocasiones muy especiales como cumpleaños. En esta ocasión tomamos café y a los niños un poco de jugo, ya que antes de dormir, ellos toman su leche.

Lo más agradable de todo esto es poder compartir en familia y sentarte a disfrutar tu cena mientras ves un juego, yo hoy veía el de los Astros de Houston contra Bravos de Atlanta, de la serie Mundial del clásico de otoño. Los niños disfrutaron su cena, claro que Joaquín por ser el más pequeño tuvo una comida diferente pero el ama el aguacate y también disfrutó un pedazo.

You may be thinking that choripan is unhealthy, but chorizo is grilled haha so we only needed wholemeal bread. But the avocado really added a special flavour to this delicious dinner.

There was no coke, we avoid this kind of drinks, we do consume them but very little or in very special occasions like birthdays. On this occasion we had coffee and the children had some juice, as they drink their milk before going to bed.

The nicest thing about all this is to be able to share with the family and sit and enjoy your dinner while watching a game, today I was watching the Houston Astros vs Atlanta Braves of the World Series of the Fall Classic. The kids enjoyed their dinner, of course Joaquin being the youngest had a different meal but he loves avocado and enjoyed a piece too.

Ya los vecinos no atormentan nuestros estómagos con el olor de su carne asada, ahora nosotros también los atormentamos a ellos, solo esperamos tener siempre algo que asar, ya que la parrillera no viene con carne incluida, como diría mi suegro: "Que malo, que no es así".

Si tienen las posibilidades, les invito a realizar este delicioso plato, que a mi parecer no es muy costoso, dependiendo las marcas y cantidades a usar, y además es rico y fácil de hacer.

The neighbours no longer torment our stomachs with the smell of their grilled meat, now we torment them too, we just hope we always have something to grill, as the grill doesn't come with meat included, as my father-in-law would say: "That's too bad, it's not like that".
