How's everyone here? Hope all of you is in good condition everyday. For todays blog I'll gonna share to all of you how my autism kid been missing his school again.

Last November 28,2023 is that last day of the school of Collin. I never expected the earthquake that we had last December 2,2023 around 10:37 pm. It was Saturday night and Collin been excited for the coming Monday. So last December 4,2023 don't have class till Dec 6.

We still have aftershock everyday so the online class is waving because of the earthquake. It's good for 3 months, oh my God! But Collin is not allowed for that online class, only my eldest son. A grade 12 student. We just wait the update of their school, hope this coming January they will have a class.

At school...

It's been 2 weeks already that Collin keeps saying "school...school mommy". So sad to hear that words for me as mother because he really want to go to school everyday but it's only Monday and Tuesday. The Tawag Resource Center of CSWD had a lot of students from morning till afternoon. They just divide the kids for the 5 teachers. It's free by the way, a government education for the autism kids.

Everytime we arrived at school the photo above is one of the basic therapy for an autism kid. In that position they will learned how to behave. I always do that while were waiting for his teacher to be done with Jeckoy. Sometimes Collin behave but sometimes he don't want to sit so he will cry and cry but I'm holding his 2 feet until he will stop crying. At first it's not easy because he will bite me, slap me, scratch me or he will knock his head on me.

The teachers will help me if he had a tantrums. Autism kids are very hyper and Collin is one of the hyper kids at school. Although I suffered a lot but all of them is worth it. Collin been changed not like before. He just enrolled last April this year but it's not too late for him to be trained eventhough it's not a private school for an autism kids. But the teacher said the mother also will be the one to guide and support all the time. As a mother of Collin I will do any thing for him. No matter how hard it is.

At the trycycle....

Being at the trycycle also makes him happy. He will tell me what thing is that, even the dogs hehehe. He speak English all the time that the driver will ask me if his a foreigner😁. Some people also not aware of the word "AUTISM" so I'll gonna explain it to them. Some parents are denial that they think it's just normal but they don't checked the behavior of the kid.

Lacked of focus is one of the symptoms and a lot more. I've learned it because of observing him since he was 2 years old. Big difference to my eldest son. When he turned 4 years old, I bring him to a doctor. So all my doubts been wiped out because his really an autism kid. Acceptance is the key. Things will be changed if a mother will try her very best of handling an austim.
