My Very First Reward From My Hive Earnings, Got Myself A Pre-owned Mirrorless Camera

Hello there Hivers, I hope everyone is doing well. In this content, I wanted to share my journey with the Hive platform, with the accumulated earnings through the rewards that I get from posting content on this platform, I rewarded my self a pre-owned mirrorless camera. Its actually the first thing I purchase from my earnings. I used to accumulate hive in my wallet and just hold it and sell it on my target price, but then I realized its a good investment as well to have a camera to get a good quality of photos to share with the community. Plus, I do really love photography a photography enthusiast I must say. So its kinda gift for my self also.

So I found this mirrorless camera through Facebook's market place. I decided to have a mirrorless thus its very handy and lesser weight compared to traditional DSLR cameras that are bulky and a bit heavy for me. So I get the Sony A6000 mirrorless camera from an individual I meet from the market place. The camera comes with 24.3 mega pixels. Since, its a pre-owned the owner gave it to me half the price from its brandnew purchased price, which I think a fair trade somehow, since the owner used it for more than a year alone from its date of purchased, as he showed the original reciept to me. The camera also registered one thousand plus shutter counts, which indicates that the camera is seldom used by the owner. As I tested the camera, all function buttons and dials are working well, with its actual appearance I can really tell that the camera is seldomly used by the owner.

Comes with the Sony A6000 is a 16-50 mm Sony kit lens with the f-stop of 3.5 - 5.6 which is the usual lens package when you buy a new camera may it be a DSLR or Mirrorless. The camera also has a 3 inches tilting screen. With regards to its video recording it has a maximum of 1080p with 60fps only, it does'nt matter anyway since I seldom do videos.

As we trade, the Sony A6000 camera comes with its original box, within the box is the camera strap, camera bag, charger with socket adapter, as well as 16Gb SD card, the camera manual and with the original receipt as well. Along with it the owner also added extra battery.

Here are some of my snaps that I took with Sony A6000 using its kit lens, with camera settings below in each photos.

I'm really fan of portrait photography. I'm planning to buy an extra lens that is designed for such category a prime lens as most photographer call it.

Above of it all thanks to the whole community of hivers and to my new friends whom I meet along the way with my journey. To the curators for their awesome and never-ending support. Without you all it would'nt be possible for me to purchase this camera. Rest assured that I will be sharing more photos to the community with this camera. Once again thanks to all who keeps on supporting my content.

Congratulation, it is enough for beginner to start with 24 MP. I had a present from @jkr88 Canon mirrorless with 20 MP. Wait for your photo arts!

I think a wise decision to buy a used one, besides it looks new anyways. I can already see an improvement in your image quality. Hopefully this will be an investment and help you earn a little more from your posts. Honestly though, the whales don't read and interact with posts, they just love a good thumbnail and post title on the trending page. I can certainly guarantee your readers will enjoy this upgrade, I already do.
