My Second Reward From My Hive Earnings , I Upgraded My Desktop Computer

Hive had really helped me achieve the things that I want through the reward I get on every content I post in the community, thanks to all my friends as well as curators for the never-ending support they gave in each of my content. In fact, just late last year December to be exact I rewarded myself with a pre-owned mirrorless Sony Camera which I used to capture photos and post them on Hive. Here is the link to that content My Very First Reward From My Hive Earnings, Got Myself A Pre-owned Mirrorless Camera. I decided to have a camera since I really love photography and I believe it's a good investment as well to have a good quality photo for my Hive contents. And lately, after a couple of months from the date I bought the camera, I again saved the earnings of my Hive reward. Which made me decide why not upgrade my desktop computer instead since it's a bit outdated already and had a low memory as well.

I decided to upgrade my desktop computer instead of anything else, I decided to have things that will help me with my journey in the Hive community. And a much faster computer will surely help me with the captured moments that I'm going to post in Hive, especially when editing photos and videos that will really help me make the work even faster.

In the first photo is the current PC I am using. It's an AMD processor with a quad-core processor specification and a 7TH generation processor of AMD with only 8GB of RAM installed.

As you can see in the above photo is the specification of the previous unit, you will notice that the A8-9600 processor had only 4 cores and an 8Gb of ram. I got it photographed to have documentation purposes. While the photo below is the PC with its original components before it gets upgraded.

And since I need to place the new components I bought, I had to clean it first so I pulled out each one of the accessories attached to have it thoroughly clean.

As I upgrade, I only bought the major component of building a PC, and these are the processor which is an i3 of 10thgen with a speed of 3.6ghz, and the motherboard of Asus brand which can equip the latest Intel processors, in short, it's ready for future upgrades. And of course the 2pcs. of 8GB ram which totaled 16GB.

So I unboxed all the components and put it on in one piece here is some of the photos. Asus motherboards is one of the leading board manufacturer wherein its early years used the tagline of "Rock Solid, Heart touching" which somehow truly reflect to end users like me since its very durable and affordable at the same time. While today they already changed it into "In Search Of Incridible", and hopefully the brands durabiliy still remained tho.

After placing all the components to the chassis it really went well since my operating system automatically boots up and detects all the components immediately. Even though they are different in brands and chipsets, maybe because the O.S installed is windows 10 already.

As you can see the processor count detected by the system is totaled 8 processors. Way faster than the AMD which has 4 processors only.

You see Hive helped me achieve all these things through the earnings I get in every content I made. And if you notice I invested mostly in devices or electronics which will help me improve my content, especially in videos and photo editing that will make the work faster. If you wonder who chooses the components, assemble the PC at the same time and make it work is no other than, yours truly. I'm actually an I.T graduate so technically I know which hardware components will fit without any issues. And hopefully, in my 3rd reward, I am planning to get a prime lens for my Sony camera
so that I can get even more good quality photos. Do you also have a reward for yourself? using the rewards from Hive? Share it with the community as well.

Above photos were all captured by yours truly. Using Sony A6000 with 16-50mm Sony Kit lens.

Congratulations on the newly upgraded computer. I believe it was a very well worth investment. Knowing how to assemble it yourself is a real bonus. Better specs are crucial if you plan to use them for video editing and graphic works. As for me, I have used my Steemit (before the fork) earnings to pay for medical bills, my children's school expenses, household furniture etc. I intend to save my current Hive earnings and hodl them as long as I could.

thanks @coloringiship, yes way before the fork I've also saved a few steem but I withdraw most of it and switch to the hive. I will also HODL after my 3rd project its an investment anyways to improve my content. Both steem and hive really help a lot of authors like us and the earnings itself provides for our daily needs. Thank you for dropping by anyway
