Bouquet of Red Roses for Mama As She Celebrates Her 75th Natal Day

Yesterday we celebrated the 75th birthday of our mama though she still finds it hard to smile after losing our papa her better half just recently, and to at least ease the pain she is feeling now we made a surprise celebration on her natal day. A surprise birthday celebration since she told us beforehand that she will not celebrate her coming birthday because of what happened to our papa lately. But still, we pushed thru the celebration.

The day before her birthday, everything takes place already from simple food preparations that we booked from the catering service and the simple birthday present prepared by my wife. While the backdrop birthday greetings were made on the day of her birthday on the spot so as not to spoil the surprise.

But early on that morning (natal day), my wife and I decided to give mama a bouquet of flowers as she rarely receives flowers during her birthdays, so we went to a flower shop in the neighboring town and had her arranged a bouquet of red roses that we believed that color red incorporates with a birthday celebration.

As we arrive at the flower shop the florist then courteously attended to us and asked if we are going to get a flower arrangement, I then replied yes and the bouquet is intended for a birthday celebrant and asked if they have red roses as they don't have it on their display. Fortunately, they have, and it's a fresh one and she's about to display them on the table actually. So with no time to waste, we then asked the florist to arrange 9 red roses for our mother.

After a few minutes of waiting the beautiful bouquet of red roses is ready to hand over to the celebrant.

Immediately as we arrived home my wife straight away handed the roses to our mother, and we felt somehow that we eased the pain in her heart at least because we painted a smile on her face.

Aside from the bouquet of roses we also prepare simple presents for her, with big smiles as she unboxes her gift.

Inside the box was a pair of rubber shoes which will be very useful for her market day, and she even gives a big smile as she found out that there is a new wallet hidden beneath the shoe as if she knew that there is money inside. For she always tells her story that every time she gifts a wallet to someone she always inserts it with money as she believed that it will bring luck to the ones who receive it, so it's time to give back the luck to her.

You know even in the difficult moments of our lives we all need to have a helping hand to move forward and the very first one you can seek is the Family.
