I would like to start this post with a beautiful quote

Equal pay would make it harder for businesses to attract and retain employees

Before even starting to write on this topic, I know many will oppose me on this one, but I have to right to write what I think and this is what I like about this platform. I might get some downvotes from the people opposing my thinking, but it's okay, I am ready for it and I respect everyone !!!

Let's first talk about, Men and women, if we look at nature, men are naturally stronger than women, and they can do the work that includes more hard work and requires power. This is how their body structure is. Men are also hard-hearted.

On the other hand, women are delicate and soft and yet they can do work more efficiently than men, which requires less power work and more mind work. This is how their body structure is.

Here I am not saying, that men are superior or women are inferior, they are equal.

It is nature, that gives little men a little edge give men a little edge on women, because they work all their life to feed their families, including their kids and a wife.

Women on the other hand are responsible for household work like caring for kids, and husbands and cooking for them. this thing makes here superior. Being a mother is a big responsibility and she should be respected a lot for that and being a father and family runner is also a big responsibility.

How it would be fair to give women and men equal pay when it comes to different hard work they do when it comes to doing the job?

It is simply impossible for women to do hard work equal to men on the work.

On the other hand, now let's talk about different professions. Every profession has its levels, and the person working on the higher level reaches theirs with his/her hard work which they do their entire life.

Let's take the example of the cleaner, how do a cleaner and the manager of the company get equal pay?

Their way of work is different, their duties are different. their hard work to reach the job they are doing is different, their struggle is different.

I am concerned about the pay of our cleaners and other workers working on the same level, No doubt they get very little pay and sometimes, their pay is not enough to fulfil their basic needs.

I have an idea to solve the issue of less pay for our workers like cleaners and others.

A man/woman who distributes or decides the pay of these people should be given equal pay as cleaners and they should try spending it for a month or two, just as a test.

If they can survive on the pay they are giving to the cleaners, the pay is okay, and on the other hand, if they can't survive with the pay they are giving to the cleaners and other workers and the same level. Their pay should be increased accordingly.

This is an interesting topic, and definitely a "touchy" topic in society.

Anyone who get's triggered by your thoughts here does not have a well rounded perspective on male and female roles in societies, or a well rounded perspective of profession and the levels of experience that are synonymous with higher pay in certain professions, in my opinion.

Western culture is falling apart because of the entitlement and mixing of roles. It's a big stirring of confusion and is creating a lot of single people and unstable family dynamics. It's not uncommon for very suitable middle aged men (and women) to be unmarried in a sea of self entitled narcissists who don't have a clue about life (ask me how I know) :D

In terms of equal pay in the work place?
I believe in fair/livable wages as minimum wages, but fields that require experience and aptitude cannot be economically or logistically sustainable by overpaying underqualified employees.

These entitlement issues are like a virus on the mind of humanity.
A lot more could be said about it.

You have a very interesting approach to the topic.

I think giving everyone what is due them is a good way to go. Underpaying someone isn't nice, especially when he or she is doing the job well, and overpaying another just because he is on a higher rank (even if he is not doing a good job) isn't nice either.

Seriously, I love the analogy. Men and women are not equal. A man's strength is more than that of a woman though they are both humans. Having equal pay to me is kind of cheating to most professions, some professions does much work than others, they should be paid what is rightly theirs. Every profession is unique but the are in levels. For instance, if equal pay is been practice then it means someone who went to secondary school will collect the same pay with a university graduate? No way! That means, you are indirectly telling the young ones that there's no need going to the university. Equal payment is a no no but every worker should be paid according to his works.

In every profession each category and each position plays a different role and the contribution is also different. If equal pay established them it will create disturbance only. Many people will be demotivated for it.

Of course, every job requires different roles and responsibilities so it is just fair to say that they should have different wages by the type of work that they did but definitely there were jobs that were underpaid and should be given consideration of revising their salary.

I'm very much in Support of this.
Taking the Manager and the cleaner as example. Yes, they have one brain/head but the sacrifice to which the manager invested before getting to that stage can't be measured to that of a cleaner.
If they pay the two of them thesame salaries, that means there won't be need for anyone to obtain high qualifications in schools

bilkul, women ka apna bht hi respective role hai society main, i think mard sy b zaida important role hai women ka. Mard tou sirf kama k lata hai. aurat hai jo bachon ki tarbiyt karti hai. mard jo kama k lata hai usy sambhalti hai.
